I still have nightmares of the feeble capitulation to the EssUndone VFL side a few years back.
I actually found it hard to take our team seriously for the next 12 months or so.
Guys - please don’t let that happen My MFCSS could become terminal.Indeed .. I also remember when the Swans were on a losing streak of about 30 matches ... guess who they had a win against to break that streak? To make matters worse, I was at that match!!
PS. I was also at the loss v Essendon VFL side.

Hey, where's everyone watching today's match?
I'm going to The Sporting Globe in Richmond. If anyone else is going there, I'm the bloke wearing the Demons cap !! 😉

I know we would be a different side without Petracca or Oliver but is there a team more reliant on one player than Richmond is on Dusty?
Has anyone ever seen that bloke smile?

Loved the interview other than several references to a 14 game winning streak. IT'S 15 !!!!!

I hate the filth. Having said that, I'd prefer to see them in the 8 rather than Richmond.

I doubt that Daw has the required fitness. So while it would be nice for him to get a senior game for the Dees, I don't think it would be a good idea.

I'm going today with my Saints supporting brother.
I think that their midfield is too physically small so I think we'll have the edge there.
I don't particularly rate Higgins. He wont get his usual quota of 'out the back' goals. I presume that May will line up on King, but I actually think that Petty is a better match up. Membury is their 'Kent Kingsley' ... hope he doesn't have a day out.
Their backline is pretty settled. Hopefully BBB has a day out. And Fritta.
Go Dees !!!

That free kick to Hogan was ridiculous. No contact, or minimal at best.
Why don't the commentators call it?

That free kick against Davey (GCS) for running too far was diabolical. Critical time in the game. Coach killer.

No Bontempelli, no Bulldogs.

Powell-Pepper running through the banner with a baby, who looks about a week or 2 old? WTF?
I never see the point of footballers running through the banner with their kids, but this is next level.

The day to day AFL media bore the [censored] out of me.
Begging for a bit of detailed analysis. The couch is the best but barely scratch the surface.
I find myself enjoying AFL Exchange just because they focus on novelty things like the difference in space between the number 11s at each club and it's a bit more light hearted without being the boys club that most AFL shows are.
How AFL 360 is even a show, let alone that it stars Robbo is beyond my comprehension.
I suggest you get onto Binman's podcasts .... they're great.
Note ... I'm not Binman, nor do I know Binman.

He plays for the same team as Jordan, Wiedermann, Thomlinson and Bowie.
And you call yourself a Melbourne fan.
You forgot Jordan Jones.

I was watching him prior to the game starting and he was kicking those goals from 50m out. I know no pressure etc.
I still believe his kicking smarts have not left him but unfortunately his finishing skills have diminished. I agree DD it was not his worse game tonight but definitely not good enough to keep him in the side against St. Kilda. I hope though they are able to find 2 games for him before his contract finishes.
Perhaps the 2 matches against weak sides - Norf and WC?

CHANGES: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne

The last 2 games have shown why Tmac is well ahead of Weid.
I'm sure i differ with virtually everyone else on this forum but I think that Bedford deserves a one week suspension for that tackle.
I'm not a great fan of Melksham, but I think he would be a suitable med sub if Chandler cops a suspension, particularly to help him get closer to 200 games.
