  1. Agree with most others ... he'll get one week.
  2. I'll be in Coogee (Sydney). So I'll be watching the match with my daughter at the Coogee Bay Hotel ... go Dees !!!
  3. I think Daw had a slight injury. I suspect Baker will be the medical sub
  4. Bolton is a really good player.
  5. Dogs ... so bad. Bruce is such a terrible player. So many of their players have just disappeared. I agree about Reiwoldt and Lynch. 2 really punchable heads. Hate Cotchin too. I'm sure there are others. I like Houli though. C'mon doggins ... get with the program !!!
  6. Obviously runs in the family.
  7. Essendon or the filth? Hmm, hard choice. On balance I hope the filth lose. (Can't bring myself to say I hope Essendon win.)
  8. Edwards was a sniper.
  9. Triplechins commentary ... twice called Casboult "Greenwood". You moron Triplechins ... Levi Greenwood is a filth player. The world doesn't revolve around the filth.
  10. Rankine is overrated.
  11. Bad kicking is bad football! (cliche @211)
  12. Let's see how the boys go against Richmond, Port, Doggies, West Coast, Brisbane before coming to any conclusions.
  13. I know that. My point was that there has been discussion about other injured players and the effect of their absences on the team, but none or precious little about Harmes.
  14. There has been plenty of talk about the injuries to Weiderman, BBB, May and Fritsch. No love for Harmes apparently. Even less love for Smith, Vanders and ... well I guess there are others, but their names dont readily spring to mind.
  15. I was at that infamous match. Even if we had won, we would have been thrashed by Carlton in the GF the following week.
  16. Hate to say it ... but the filth weren't too bad, particularly having regard to injuries. Putting that to one side, very happy to see them 1 - 4.
  17. How much is Hill being paid? He's appalling.
  18. Thank god no one has suggested Smith. Someone has however suggested Vanders. Forget Daw. Too slow, and doesn't have a football brain. Oskar Baker .... very much doubt that he'll make it. These players are barely depth. M. Brown for Fritsch is a possibility. I 'get' the suggestion of Melksham playing Fritsch's role, but he's not in the same league. He's lucky to be getting a game at all.
  19. Agree with the above. Having said that, I've always thought he was a pretty gutsy player. Can't remember him ever squibbing a contest.
  20. I made that observation last year ... or perhaps it was 2 years ago?
  21. Yes, from all accounts he will stand his ground.
  22. I'm not a Melksham fan. However, he won't be dropped. I think it's more or less a selection policy that players won't be dropped after just one game back. Agree with others that it's Petty or Hibberd for May. I'm sure Jetts will hold his spot.
  23. If May had caused this injury to Hawkins, would he be cited? I think we all know the answer to that.
  24. 1990 I think. Twas when I was on my honeymoon. Think it was even more than 5 - 0. I'm sure someone will clarify/correct this.
