  1. Good win by Norf at Boo Stadium. If I hear anyone mention Shinboner spirit I'll spew !!! Stephenson was clear BOG.
  2. Stephenson's playing an awesome match for Norf. What's wrong with Kelly for WC? Doesn't look interested.
  3. I think that ridiculously priced GF corporate packages are usually available. If the Dees made the GF, and I missed out in the MCC ballot, I'd pay the extorbinant price for a ticket. Well, up to say $2,000. Might be my last chance to see a flag. (Slight exaggeration ... I'm not THAT old!!!)
  4. Carlton are playing like Demons in their (many) bad years. Skill errors/turnovers/handballs to players under pressure. Demons have come a long way !!! Thank God we don't have to endure that any more ...
  5. If that dive hadn't been paid as a penalty, the match would have ended in a draw. So, it would have been penalties. FWIW I'd back Italy to win a penalty shoot out every time. So I suspect that the Socceroos would have been knocked out in any event. That's not to say that the dive wasnt a dog act, and the penalty decision wasn't shocking.
  6. So ... the full back line wasn't presumably.
  7. Watched the replay. I really liked Max shepherding as Plugga ran into the open goal. There was a really good chase by Brayshaw (I think) in the final minute. Not sure whether he caught the PA player, but it was a good effort. Skill errors ... Viney/Harmes/ANB. Everyone else was great. BBB inclusion was obviously successful. NSS !! My good friend Blind Freddy was also calling for his inclusion weeks ago. The enjoyment of the win will extend to today ... and weekend. So different to last week's debacle.
  8. Genuine premiership contenders don't (in general) lose 2 matches in a row. How the team deals with Port on Thursday will go a long way to showing whether the Demons are 'the real deal'.
  9. On a news report the newsreader said that the GWS was a massive upset. Really? Was anyone here in the least surprised?
  10. My American friend asks after each match whether the Demons or the Fuchsias turned up. Hmm, sadly it was the latter yesterday. Very poor performance. Flat from the start. It would be a massive turn around to beat Port. Can't see it happening.
  11. Melbourne is not a team you can trust.
  12. Hey, does anyone think that any of the footy shows will highlight Reiwoldt's disgusting behaviour towards an umpire after the final siren?
  13. I hate Jee-long. Hawkins, Selwood, Dangerfield, Rowan, Scott ...
  14. I'm going ... plus 3 friends.
  15. Listening to Spotify Daily Mix 2. Duran Duran do a ripping cover of Lay Lady Lay (Dylan song). I suspect that the above comment is slightly off topic.
  16. You can be sure that the media won't highlight his abysmal behaviour. Those footy shows (360 etc) go on and on about just about everything, but they will conveniently ignore that.
  17. Fun fact. Touk Miller's father is Wylie J. Miller, lead singer for Grand Wazoo.
  18. Ainsworth ... 4 points .... FFS.
  19. All this talk about Lynch is making me forget about my hatred of Reiwoldt, Cotchin and Hardwick.
  20. I think his parents may be related.
  21. That miss by Sam Day was a momentum killer.
  22. I put a lazy $100 on the Tigers. Not at all concerned about my investment. GC will run out of steam.
  23. He was extremely brave. I remember one match v Saints that thug Lockett lined him up. Thankfully he missed. Sean didn't flinch.
