Yes ... I should hang my head in shame. BTW you are one of my favourite posters.

I know I should wash my mouth out, but it would be more favourable to the Dees if the filth beat Swans this arvo. Swans fighting for a top 4 position whereas the filth have no hope of making the top 4, let alone the top 8. They are a genuine top 16 contender though.

Trac won't play against the Blues.
-
Weiderman will definitely come into the side as his replacement.
-
He has his 'rests' during matches !!! ?

Rising Star Rd 08: James Jordon

Did Kozzy and LJ get nominated last year? -
(re Spargo). I was in the 'too small, too slow, can't kick far enough, can't tackle, no tricks' camp. Happily the football department didn't share this view. He certainly has developed into a good player. In particular his tackling has improved out of sight. He is also a smart player. Glad to be wrong !!!

Jack Watts Back in the Red & Blue

Wonder if he still likes swimming ... and there was something else (hmm, what was it?). -
Watching the highlights I thought that Tmac threw the ball to Trac to set up his goal.

Centre Clearances - Considered Analysis Requested.
At Least I Saw a Flag replied to DEE fence's topic in Melbourne Demons
I particularly hate it when one of the midfielders gets the ball from the centre ball up (bounce down) and does a cutesy handball to a teammate under pressure ... turnover ... and away they (the opposition) go. -
What's wrong with Cripps?
-
Well done filth scraping a win over Norf. The filth can now be regarded as a genuine top 16 side contender !!

My 3 word player analysis V Sydney
At Least I Saw a Flag replied to joeboy's topic in Melbourne Demons
Sparrow ... intimidates the opposition? No mean feat considering he didn't play. -
No ... she had a lovely voice. No bickering with her husband. I think I talked to her more than her husband. I love her. (Twas on level 2, MCC reserve.)

I'm an old bloke ... in my sixties. I was sitting with a mate. On the other side was a woman who was about my age. Demons supporter. She was sitting with her husband. She was very charming .... apparently her husband doesn't rate her comments. Not sure why not. She added to my enjoyment of the match.

Norf are excruciating. So bad. Where is the Norf that played a great (first) half against the Dees last week?
-
Richmond good, Jee-long terrible. I'm predicting carnage. I hate Lynch, Reiwoldt and Nankervis. I hate Cotchin too. (Yes, I know he's not playing.) And Hardwick of course.

Sydney COVID Case & Our Match
At Least I Saw a Flag replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
MFCSS alert ..... Demons looking really good, possibly even real chance to win the flag. Covid goes crazy. 2021 season abandoned ... ? -
Bayley Fritsch cleared of striking

$2,000 normally, but 1 week cos the charged player was with MFC, i.e. not Jee-long, filth ...etc -
A few random comments ... May will play on Franklin, Hibbert to Papley. The Club clearly see Petty as a long term key defender. So, despite Tmac being a better short term option, it's important to get games into Petty. Despite the love for Weid, realistically he's had very few good matches. I'm surprised the club hasn't tried him as a backman. They're obviously not going to do it now!! As if BBB will be dropped after one match. Apart from the fact that he has plenty of runs on the board, the club pretty much has a policy of not dropping players after one match. I don't think that Baker will make the grade. Hope I'm wrong. The team really missed Viney's grunt at the start of the match v Norf. Apparently Sparrow is a similar type of player. If so, he should probably come into the side. I think ANB will hold his place. Harmes is pretty much on the outer. (I know he's coming back from injury.) Poor Jetts is pretty much cooked, and I doubt that he will get too many more games. Same with Vanders, and Smith. I don't think Bradke will make the grade. Hope i'm wrong. I doubt that Daw will play more than one or two AFL games for the season, unless Max goes down with injury. Gus won't be dropped anytime soon. Jones ... hmm, not sure. Is anyone still reading this?

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
At Least I Saw a Flag replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think Daw had a slight injury. I suspect Baker will be the medical sub -
Bolton is a really good player.
