what a ripper of an episode. I made our dogs sleep outside last night.

Sansa reminds me of the current crop of pollies we have in this country - full of self importance but when you dissect what they actually say - you think to yourself "WTF???"
-
here is my conspiracy theory - have you ever seen Stannis Baratheon and Daniel Cross in the same room ? Have you ? have you ? hmmmm.....
-
Everyone chases everyone - you just don't admit to it until seasons end. (you are under contract to Demonland - I shouldn't even be replying to your post)
-
Not quite correct. I am aware that during the season there is a weekly meeting on recruiting (both TAC/under 18 and other clubs players) that both coach and CEO attend. The frequency of these meetings ramp at seasons end.

It was boring but Audrey Hepburn doing that thrashing guitar solo on that stratocaster during "moon river" is epic.(seriously - I have no problem if you can't play the guitar but why on earth would you put one in her hand ??)

How good are the hound and Bron ?

I have no problem with saying "he is not AFL standard YET". I always believe it is premature to write off young talls in their first couple of seasons because they have to develop. History shows you that talls don't really start to come into their own until around 23 - and yes there are always exceptions. As yet, I am not convinced either way on Omac but anyone writing him off is doing so prematurely in my opinion.
-
He bombs the ball in a little too much but his disposal by foot is actually neat when he lowers his eyes. That will come with experience. I was thinking last night that it is testament to the faith our coaches have in the backline that it is made of "experienced" campaigners in Omac, Frost ( he is such a natural defender), Wagner and Hunt.

My daughter plays footy - they call her bruiser - not sure about her genetics though as i played very much like Michael Young who came to us from Carlton ( muddy grounds for 4 quarters - walked off the ground with pristine white shorts.)

not even sure what "muscle" someone means. I have no problem with every contest being as hard as possible - hard but fair. What Ceglar did was not hard - it was a cheap shot to a player that wasn't expecting it. I don't want our team going down the same route as Ceglar or what Vince and Viney did earlier. I want our team going down the route of what Viney did to Weller last year. My issue is that the MRP should take care of ensuring cheap shots and illegalities in general get what they deserve. Compare what Hawkins and Ceglar did and one must ask - in what universe do these two acts deserve the same punishment. I have no faith at all in the MRP.
-
Umm - have a look at it again - he hits Hogan with the elbow to the face and Hogan is facing Ceglar - it is not from behind as were the Rance/Jonas hits. ( not sure how can look at this vision and suggest he is hit from behind ????) I am not condoning the action and IMO whilst it is slightly less dangerous when you are facing someone as you have a split second to get your hands up ( as opposed to Rance and Jonas when you don't see the punch coming) in football all punches whether front on or not are dangerous as I don't believe footballers believe they will get whacked in the head from an intentional punch or elbow whether facing the opponent or not.

much better episode last night... We have a cat at home who is a piece of work - will bite and swipe for no reason whatsover - a mean little mofo - we have renamed him Ramsey Bolton

I find this amusing. So...when Bernie threw the elbow earlier this year and got a weeks holiday - is he also a Piece of censored ? and a weak dog ? There are certain acts that need to be called for what they are - and Rance's hit on Watts and Jonas's hit deserved to be highlighted but rather than call players weak dogs I would prefer they were called idiots. It is obvious to me that nearly all players don't premeditate these acts ( although Casboult absolutely premeditated running into Robinson). Nearly all acts are brain fades as all players know that the cameras picks up everything. These acts are a moment of stupidity. So is Bernie Vince and Jack Viney (who threw a combination of punches a couple of weeks ago) also weak dogs ?

really interesting. I don't really have time for intense dislike - I usually opt for avoidance instead - however I found myself very irritated by Choco Williams when he was coach of Port - really rubbed me up the wrong way. I go bike riding with mates every Wednesday night ( lycra is banned) and we stopped at a 7 eleven on Brighton road and whilst we were waiting for one of our crew to come out Choco Williams emerged ( he was already assistant at Richmond) - one of us said G'day Choco and he the came over and yapped with us for the next two hours about all things football !!! Absolutely ripping bloke. Some very public personae can be deceiving

When are Los Romeos Oxidados coming to the music capital of the world (that would be Melbourne) ?

I was going to make this best and worst film of all time but picking the best film is too hard. But the bad ones stick out like dogs balls. Of the current crop which absolutely polarised people - "Tree of Life " with Brad Pitt/Sean Penn..... ( kill me...kill me now)

okay - i am starting a thread .....

British humor is such a case of two extremes - you have the brilliance of comedies you mentioned in the third paragraph and then the last paragraph ..ewww.... I am a huge fan of Ricky Gervais and I thought his genius really shone in his series "extras" - he wanted so badly to be an actor of note and the only great success he had was in a sitcom that fell squarely in the "on the buses" genre. The conflict he portrayed in that he loved the fame and success and this was countered by his hated of the product. "derrick" was a masterpiece IMO - had me laughing and crying constantly.

turn left at rock that looks like bear and then turn right at bear that looks like rock.....

If it was just contained to America it would then make amusing television. Unfortunately it does have global impact and scary global impact at that. When you read a headline such as North Korea State Media Praises Donald Trump as a 'Wise Politician' " then be afraid - be very afraid

you know nuthing H_T. I judge people who do not watch this ! It is a fantastic show - read all the books and besides watching copious quantities of sport, it is the only non sport program that i must religiously watch. For the opening night of every season we have a game of thrones feast ( yes ..there is a GOT cookbook) and this season i made roast swan - which was actually turkey but lets keep that our secret.....

I asked this question a few weeks ago - do coaches coach drawing high tackles - and it appears my question has been answered. My problem is that there has been such a push to protect the head at all costs and coaches are now coaching a technique that makes head more vulnerable to contact ???

and living with Elvis ?
