  1. If Kentfield was fit he'd almost be getting a crack this weekend

Some of you blokes need to chill. No way in the world Goody goes. Let alone after round 2.
  3. In comparison to Marvel 😅
  4. I'd be backing a relitlvley unchanged lineup, save for the obvious changes like May and Windsor slottingin if fit. We play the G well and Sun's are learning to win away from home. Let most of the same guys have a crack at redeeming themselves imo. The way we got beaten but at centre bounce in the last, was like the last game of the season in 21 when the cats put us to the sword early from centre bounce too. No one remembers getting smacked around like that when they look back at 2021. Clearly we won that game after the siren, bit the point is we're weren't Invincible when we won the flag. We just had a collective buy in and team 1st ethos. Hopefully the negativity galvanises the group like it did for the Saints and Power who both bounced back from heavy losses
  5. One of the more bizarre press conferences you'll see
  6. Will be a long season. Having said that lots of teams have had some yoyo style results after just 2 rounds. Keen to see May, McVee, Windsor and Pickett back in the side
  7. Hoping for one of those 'game of two halvee'scenarios
  8. This is the day our young tall forwards need to introduce themselves to the league. Norf have nothing in the backline. Roo, Disco, Jeffo - over to you
  9. I'd like to this the difference is the injury he was managing before they conceded and went under the knife
  10. Whenever I'm in Melbourne I'll grab a GA ticket and see an extra game at the Dome. Typically there are always empty seats all over the place and once you're in you can just sit wherever isn't taken. I wouldn't stress too much about finding 3 seats together for this fixture haha

Bitter sweet. Footy is back and so is that sting after a hard fought loss

Feel a little for Wowey who has had Henderson waltz past him by the looks

We'll certainly know which of the new guys are ready for AFL. Don't mind the approach. Good luck boys
  14. Relitlvley happy with the practice match. Now onto the real thing
  15. I intend to
  16. Thanks TU for the copy paste magic. A good read
  17. Charlie Spargo is the first to come to mind for me. Hasn't been able to get on the park. Tidy player when available. Career on the line you'd imagine. I think Van Rooyen, Tuner and Petty all need to show more this year too. Need our big forwards to be a reliable source of goals, and not rely on Fritsch and Pickett to be our main avenue.
  18. I like the look of this bloke tbh.
  19. Jonesy back, Saty returning to his righful role of club cheerleader / demonland villan, and all lining up after the Dees drop outside the 8 for the first time in a while. Feels like 2013 all over again 🥰
  20. I'm a big fan of this to be honest. A leader in the eyes of our guns - who better to get the boys back together? A great of the club. Culture cultivator. My view is that coaching these days is all about man management and less about flicking around magnets and being a master tactician. Jonesy get my blind faith 100%
  21. 120Y perhaps 🤔

Snivelling Damien Barretts sliding doors is a joke. He would have said the same thing about the club being a mess if we'd traded out our guns. Massive F1og

I think the club needs more credit for the strong stance taken with Trac, Koz and Oliver. The Media were salivating at the prospects of us letting gun players walk and there was genuine rival interest. Richmond, Port, Westcoast, Bulldogs and Sydney all let good contracted players walk out of their clubs. All but Richmond allowed it to happen for almost no returns. We held firm and should be given some credit where it's due. Very solid trade period for the dees. Bring on 2025
  24. I agree. If players look at their careers in a binary manner (flag or bust) each year they're not going to enjoy footy
  25. I liked what Hunter brought to the table. Unfortunate that his body let him down. All the best in retirement
