Tom McDonald?
Quite relevant i reckon. I could have picked any number of quotes but grabbed these two (which happened to be concurrent) from back in 2015, when TMac was 22, from Praha and Mooshadow, respectively: 'He's only 22 but has 70+ games experience. That's interesting because young players tend to hit their strides around the 50-70 game mark, once they have a feel for the speed and hardness of the game' 'TMac is having a few poor games after numerous blinders earlier in the season. Big guys take more than 70 games to reach their peak, and as others have said he's only 22' Both quotes have proven to be correct and TMac is now a monster. Omac is only 22 and has 55 games. Big future and again as i have said a number of times will be a 200 plus game player for us..

Tom McDonald?
I for one 100% agree. As i have said a few times I think he is ahead of where his brother was at the same stage. Certainly a better kick. Not as quick i guess. But more reliable.

And Omac. Our most reliable kick down back. Dr Cool rarely misses a target.

Blimey. Is that picture safe for work?

A Day at the Races
g'day punters, I can feel it in the air, the unmistakable spring vibe. One of my favourite times of year. Love the couple of months before the spring carnival starts in earnest. My mate and i usually start back up on our spring campaign in mid to late August so soon now. Can't wait. In the man time will have to content myself with the dees still being in finals contention. I might post my bets footy bet of the round on a Friday for the last few games and finals. I like my bet now of the swans to miss the finals at $3. Had an up and won footy betting season but have made a profit so can't complain. Was well up this round coming into Sunday's game and then managed to get them ALL wrong to break even.

Changes v Gold Coast Suns
Unless you are Richmond an the only injury issue you have actually becomes the key to winning a flag - having big men go down early in the 2017 season forced them to go small in the forward line and presto anew flag winning model was born!

POST MATCH DISCUSSION - Round 19
Hats off to our defensive unit for keeping us in the game in rhe first half. As (most) people understand very hard to contain teams that are dominating contestedvand incontested ball the eau crows were doing If the back six did not do such a good job we easily could have ben 4-5 goals down.

Liking my bet on swans not making finals now.

Soft. It is supporters like you that have us trapped in a veil of mediocrity

ROUND 19 - Non MFC games
i reckon Swans will miss finals. For those who like to punt they are $3 to miss finals. if they lose tonight - which i suspect they will - that will come into$1.80 or so so if keen load up tonight (i'm keen). Critical game for them. I think Essendon will be too quick for them. A bombers win would be great for us. they won't make it and swans fall out of the 8 that will help us. Our percentage is the ace up our sleeves.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 19
I'm not sure i entirely agree with that Nasher. I reckon he has shuffled fringe players quite a bit in the first half of the year. Too often i reckon. Certainly Roos was much more likely to make no changes. Billy was out after a week, Pederson has been in and out, Wagner similar, Weeds and most recently petty. Bugg too IIRC? I think it is terrific he is going unchanged. A real show of faith in his team, which is important and i i think perhaps might evidence of Goody developing and improving his coaching.

Proposed new rules for 2019
And bad dad jokes at that (i am an aficionado of dad jokes). The coverage goes for so long, wit so much filler. People seem to love roaming brian. Can't stand it. Treats it all as a joke and brings zero insight. Incredible access and wasted. We could actually get some proper insight if done well.

I agree it is difficult to replicate the intensity of a match but thwy can - and do - practice that sceario. So when the times comes they don't have to think. Just do what they have practised. The smart players know when to deviate from the team method. As i have noted clock management is a critical element in bbal and at the elte level run last minurte scearios all rhe time.

I think we will make finals. Lets have a friendly wager. Winner chooses loser's avatar until the eve of round one next year. Good bet for you given your confidence

Add to that list of failings - and all of orhers - you can add jkh coming off with 90 seconds to go. As soon as omac kicked to trac he should have turned and spinted to give an option. In the centre. Would have been impossible for cats to man him up. Cant blame him as he wouldn't have felt authorized to make that call (you'd hope a senior player would) but rhw eunner or benxh should have told him to do it. In any case why take him off wirh only 90 seconds to go and leave us one down?

I reckon we beat crows, suns and swans.
