If you are on the north side of the g rhe grace darling on smith street Collingwood is a good option. Not least because ill be there. Half price pints of cider and coopers 5-7. Pretty good food and a 20 min walk to the g. South side the corner a good option. -

I reckon your source is correct. JKH stiff. But has credits in the bank now. -

And after we have smashed them the time will have come to raise the roof and have some fun, throw away the work to be done and let the music play on (Its a grand old flag!) Then after the leaving the G, dees fan will sing and dance into the night: Everybody sing, everybody dance Lose yourself in wild romance, we going to Parti', karamu', fiesta, forever Come on and sing along We're going to parti', karamu', fiesta, forever Come on and sing along All night long (all night), all night (all night) All night long (all night), all night (all night) All night long (all night), all night (all night) All night long (all night), ooh yeah (all night) People dancing all in the street See the rhythm all in their feet Life is good, wild and sweet Let the music play on Feel it in your heart and feel it in your soul Let the music take control, we going to Parti', liming, fiesta, forever Come on… -

Their post bye record is a funny one. Surely it is an anomaly but at the same time maybe it is in the back of the Cat's player's minds. Certainly pundits have mentioned it as a factor and if they have moved training sessions the club must think it is. The other interesting thing from a psychological perspective is i reckon they are under more pressure than us. Sure we are inexperienced in terms of finals but they have a lot of eggs in the holy trinity basket. Their premiership window is closing and they may feel they need to win it this year before it shuts. If we get a few goals up they might start stressing about that window sliding down (that is a a lot of metaphors in one paragraph). They don't have the same elite fugazi skills as us so maybe the white noise will mess with their minds. -

So will Tyson. (full disclosure: no source, only personal opinion. But it will be a correct opinion) -

And i think that is exactly what will happen. We will do what we did to gws. Smash them physically. -
And further to that im pretty sure roosy said it the context of a scenario like steve may who is rumoured to be considering a move or fielding offers.

As i said nothing wrong wirh having a discussion a year out. There is something wrong with demanding a player prove his loyalty by extending and deciding if he doesn't yoy MUST trade him. Particularly a player who has shown loyalty already and rejected huge offers to stay with us
-
Did you miss rhe fact he is not a free agent unti 2021? And lets pretend he did become a free agent to be clear you would support shopping hogan if he did not prove his loyalty by commiting to an exstension?
-
One i never threw any insults around. I don't play the man. Two, you said: Don't get me wrong, if Hogan wants to stay, we keep him, but he has to prove this with a contract extension. Sounds lot like threat to me. At the least you are saying we should ask him to prove his loyalty and commit to an extension. Prove being the key word. As i said he does not have to PROVE anything. And to suggest he does is patent nonsense. Which is not an insult. it is an opinion.
-
I have no issue with us asking if he wants to sign a new contract. But you said he has to prove his loyalty by agreeing to a contract extension. The implication being we demand he sign or we will ship him. Which is total bulltish. And as i understand it (might be wrong) he will be a restricted free agent so we can match any offer. And if we do lose him to free agency we will be well compensated given the price on his head and age in the same way we were when we lost Frawley - who we got a number 3 draft pick for (which allowed us to pick up Oliver IIIRC). So we are under no pressure whatsoever to sign him again now and putting a bloke who has already committed to our club under pressure to sign is totally disrespectful and no way to build a cohesive, team first culture. Not much esprit de corps in that. You must of gone to the Mark Neeld school of culture building.
-
Honestly this is the biggest load of rubbish i have ever heard. Why does he has to prove anything? In good faith he has signed a contract till the end of 2019. Unbelievable what some people think players owe the club and their fans. Fair dinkum i have never read so much baloney on this site. And that is seriously saying something.

The rose in fitzroy is a good footy pub. But i still recommend going!

how did they get our bathwater? -
To be honest there are very few good pubs to watch the dees i reckon. If you are going to the city area you're better off going to the game. No worries on atmosphere there. I just checked and you can still get standing room tix for $35 and single seat tix in the boondocks for $90 odd. If i didn't have a ticket already i'd buy a standing room ticket and go to the top of the ponsford and watch standing opposite that bar area (where the escalators come up). Perfect and by yourself you'll find a spot to see

Agree. Don't think Goody does though.
-
Would cost you about $600 to buy at the footy these days (i know you didn't buy your feast at the ground btw). And your wine would be in little dinky plastic 'glasses'!
-
Agree. Surprisingly good. ActualIy adds something to the understanding of the game - unfortunately rare for so called special comments people. I think Daisy is number 1 though.

I'm Brian. And so's my wife (the opposite to espirt de corps)

More information please. Is feelings something about this song:

Do you have trouble with your eyes?

To be honest if i was cats fan (shudder) i'd be more worried about the dees physical pressure. Cheap shots aside we are playing some of the most ferocious football i have seen. The tackling in the last 3 weeks has been cray cray - from every player. Then you have players like VDB, Viney and even Maxy who are wrecking balls. VDB reminds me a bit of Dipper in his hey day. Physicality is one of the reasons i think they will select Tyson and Hannan and perhaps even Smith. All are early to mid twenties, strong and have a bit of weight. Perfect for our game. Mini wrecking balls.
-
If Tyson plays then kent is the only injury. Viney comes in for kent. they won't need to drop anyone for Tyson. But as i've noted elsewhere my strong suspicion is that they will select Hannan, mots likely at the expense of JKH (who would be very unlucky). Smith would be a curve ball. They would have to drop someone else and the only person at risk of being dropped is Spartacus, i would have thought. But do they want to make 3 changes to aside that played so well?

Was funny day with a mixture of long odds winners and a few shorties. Ended up having a good day after an average start and some big hits on Vega Magic and Voodoo Lad who i thought would smash them. No idea what happened to Jameh - who i also took a big hit on! I backed Redzel who was brilliant. Drifted too so happy with the odds. First time i've backed it. I um and ahhed on who to back against Le Romain, swinging back and forth between Coming Through and Dixie Blossoms. Landed on Coming through, had a saver on Dixie and took them in the quin, which i thought i had snagged. Got Unforgotten and then pure elation and only just realised that was four Sydney winners in a row. Should have all upped! I backed Lite in Veins and thought it might win mid race. Win only unfortunately, though the Sportsbet (and Bet Easy) deal of 50 back for 2nd or 3rd is a great offer. Got three of those back for the day. Snagged a couple of winners at Caulfield so a profit on the day - though not as huge as all the winners might suggest. We bet in every Sydney and Melbourne race so plenty of losers too.
