  1. Me too, think fitness would be a question mark over running out games? Unsure about the work he has done there but he would really lift the team.
  2. JKH laid 8 tackles and had 4 score involvements. He would have done what the coach had required of him to earn his spot for another week. Depending on how Casey goes, might be Hannan for Tyson.
  3. I TOLD EVERYONE HE WILL BE BETTER THAN PETRACCA AND WILL WIN A BROWNLOW.. EVERYONE LAUGHED AT ME. WHO IS LAUGHING NOW HAHAHA Probably all of us are laughing, considering he plays for the team we support. Nonetheless, haha.
  4. Very sensible for Gus to play out the season and up his market value. Imagine if he signed a contract extension at the start of the year versus now. Would be a 200k pay gap... Most likely juicing $ from his contract as much as he can before putting pen to paper if he continually proves his consistent form and ability, and rightly so.
  5. OUT: J. Smith, Stretch IN: Vince, Baker
  6. It's not the be all and end all if he chases money and goes to Freo to play with his brother. At least he has built up some huge currency. Would have hated to offload him for cheap and then Gus showing what he's doing now over there and we got back peanuts.
  7. I think it was something to do with countering our midfield dominance? I remember watching in the media lead up to the game one of the doggies players saying they were doing a lot of work into Max Gawn and had developed some tricks up their sleeve, this may be what Goodwin alluded to? Which it obviously worked for them as they dominated clearances. Will be interesting to see how we go about working on that area which let us down in that game last time.
  8. Granted ANB is our best and hardest distance runner, but for me, I don't see how that translates into being warranted games? It's all well and good to be able to cover the ground well and rack up the kilometres, but did/do you ever sit up and take notice of ANB's hard running and say to yourself "Gee, he worked hard for that possession?" or "Wow, look at that chase down tackle, he ran far to get to that contest" Kent in his games he played with us actually played a very decent forward defensive role, and kicked 3 goals in both games he played in. He was doing quite well before he got injured.
  9. I’m not comparing like for like with player a versus b.. I’m comparing what their individual assets are and what they bring to the team. That’s why I said “stretch adds more than Tyson” it’s clearly a comment that what he brings to the table and our structure is more valuable to our side than what Tyson can bring. We needed more speed, outside pace. Stretch clearly brought that, which is why Tyson (with the attributes he has and how he fits into our team) found himself on the outer. If I was comparing players as you suggested “comparing like for like” I would have said “Stretch is so much better than Tyson” which I didn’t, because I don’t believe he is. What I do believe though is Stretch added so much more to our team and our midfield and spread than what Tyson does.
  10. Would love to inject even more spread and speed onto the G against the doggies. Out: Smith, ANB In: Baker, Kent
  11. The exact changes I called for and wanted. This isn’t a time about but about rewarding games through the VFL. If that were the case Baker should have played. Garlett in Darwin with the slippery conditions is the exact addition we need with Spargo alongside. Those of you that can’t see that are blind.
  12. Goodwin must have read demonland and finally came to his senses of playing Garlett and Spargo in the same team with our inside 50s.
  13. They've got a tough run home. Still are yet to beat anyone credible. With Treloar and now Dunn out I'm expecting their world to come crashing down.
  14. Thanks for the insight Die Hard Demon. I've unfortunately heard the same things and has created a huge sense of tension and uneasiness internally. I don't care what anyone says, but the fish rots from the head. This has caused an indirect impact on the playing group whether we like it or not. Standby for further news about this which will come out in the media sooner or later.
  15. Make a statement. Inject some run and carry and mosquito fleet to mop up our horrible inside 50 deliveries. We play our best footy when we’re predictable, not always bombing it to McDonald and our goal kickers are spread amongst the team. I don’t give two [censored] if players haven’t earn a spot for a recall, right now we need to pick our best 22 based on what will win us games. We have zero speed and zero spread. Some people on here have absolutely no clue that teams are catching on what we are doing, play an extra back and spread run and carry. We can’t keep up and teams are playing transition footy way too easily. We have been one of the easiest clubs to score against. Wake up!!! Last week I was calling for Garlett and Spargo to play together as we had no small forwards, ahead of Hannan and I got called out for it. Now this week everyone is on the same page. Funny that. Out: Petty, Tyson, Hannan, Weideman, Smith, In: Frost, Garlett, Spargo, Vince, Kent
  16. Harsh on the bloke, considering he didn’t even play.
  17. Honestly, not playing Vince, Frost, Garlett and or Spargo is due to Goodwins cockiness thinking that we’re a club that can win games without our best 22 on the park and gift games to players who try hard instead of talent. I don’t give a [censored] if Garlett isnt doing well in the VFL. Hannan had 4 disposals and zero marks. Out: Petty, Tyson, Hannan, Weideman In: Frost, Stretch, Garlett, Vince
  18. Lmao.. Plays absolutely nothing like Cameron Ling. If he didn’t have red hair you would have never made that comparison.
  19. I'm nicknaming him Happy. I don't care what you all think.
  20. Too old? Too Injury prone? Hmm.. You better hope you're right, because HERE THEY COME
  21. Can we operate with both Spargo and Garlett in the forward line? Wouldn't mind seeing a bit of a mosquito fleet and giving Weideman / Hogan license to crash and bring the ball to ground as much as possible.
  22. I lost it when they called that Melksham free a block.. in a one on one marking contest and he had his eyes on the ball.. My god.
