We have two of the best leaders going around, Gawn and JV. Both lead buy example, it has taken awhile for this group too mature and Jack was guilty of trying too lead and carry em on his back whilst maturing himself. Goody made the rite decision giving the captaincy too Gawn, and releasing Jack of that burden, and since has become the leader he is onfield, a much more team orientated player. Gawny is the leader of enjoyment outta this game that seems too get lost by the pros, easy to say when winning I suppose, but hey, I’m sure enjoying it.

Plenty of words can describe JV but I go with “LEDGENDARY TOUGH DEMON FOOTBALLER”.

Being a footy tragic as I am and total demon it’s not hard too say that the forty odd minutes of the granny we dominated WAS the best team football I HAVE EVER SEEN, bias, totally, and the scary thing about that is the team is so young. We have set a new bench mark that only we can match, at the moment! Others teams are surely gunna come for us but when we switch too beast (Demons)mode, I haven’t seen anything from other teams that will match us for a full game, sure they may get a run on, like the dogs did, but as Daisy said we don’t have an off switch until it’s game ova. I’m certainly not one to get ahead of myself, one game at a time, and I’m finding it very hard that game ain’t this week. 🔴🔵🟥🟦

My ol man, bullies supporter and lived there, played one game with bullies u/19s way back, early 50’s. Was scrounging thru shed a week before gf and found an old team photo of him in Melbourne jumper, I think it may have been Alma Park, he played cricket for them, strange no chalk board of year or team.

We’ve done it tough ova the 57 years and been thumped and humiliated on and of the field but here we are bloody PREMIERS 2021. And I couldn’t be prouder of our club more so than now, I’ve always been proud too be a Demon. Too the point, just watched Goody’s interview on OTC. The question was asked about getting JJ onto the ground. 1 Choco said we gotta get him on somehow . 2 Goody was keen .3 Harmsey was willing and had some cramping 4 James Jordan was happy were he sat. 4 and most importantly SENIOR MEMBERS, suggested it’s wasn’t in the spirit of the rule. Wow just wow. The Integrity and culture of our club from the top right thru too us supporters is unbelievably strong in, admin, coaching, playing group and all connected. An incredible turn around from being the down trodden re the tanking, there was more blatant evidence against other clubs than us 😳, and we’ve had too carry all that, u no what. The Integrity and Culture of the MFC is back and I reckon we’ve bought Hell with us, the lads have plenty of motivation, for all of us supporters too get a cup on the G. And this may have been mentioned before, Goody told Mike Sheehan in the Sorrento pub, preseason that we’d win it this year, big call very early, maybe Norm got in his ear one nite🤪57/57 Sis and self have shed plenty of tears, we filled the rain tanks here in Angnes Water. 8 and 9 at the G in 64, wow, just wow. ps maybe it should be merged, I’ve been watching everything on fox and haven’t read too much on here, but will eventually.

I’m awake and it wasn’t a dream F yeah. 57 yrs of Demon hell has passed. We are scarily an awesome club/team again. And too all those oppo supporters who said they’d win a flag b4 us well ef u, how’d ya like that? I’m also now a believer in curses 57/57. Simply incredible team effort, a norm smith medal for all to go with pship medal as far as I’m concerned. Our spirit for Demons past and present has pushed us to this point and made us great again. It’s fantastic too share and listen/read with all you devoted Demons. GO THE MIGHTY DEMONS, WE ARE THE GREATEST CLUB OF ALL. I LOVE EVERYONE OF YOU FOR BEATING RED AND BLUE. HUGS ALROUND.🟦🟥🔴🔵❌⭕️

Gus seems to be really enjoying it on the wing and is only getting better. Langers /Gus hopefully become formidable wingers. Gussy’s concussion issues keep him outta the engine room I reckon, everybody is now very aware of the future health of all players. Speed in the middle offensively and defensively is my call = Kozzie. He’s that quick he can crumb his clearance into the fwd line and GOAL ?. Spargs might surprise but he ain’t quick, has he ever been in there at a centre bounce, can’t recall it?

Gotta agree with you fork, I too have seen that harder side in fritta and I reckons he’s copped more than his share and looks for some payback.

It’s great watching a team of Demons playing good aggressive footy. I reckon Hunt is becoming a smarter player every week. Kozzies two long bombs were class. The Dees are all class, and I suffer the indignity of not backing them ?

Well that was bloody frustrating. We didn’t handle the pressure and where bad in the contest with disposal= turnovers. Suck it up and focus on next week boys.

Wasn’t overly confident of the win, but did tip us by 12. Maturing every week, “The Learnings” ?. I reckon that Petty kid is going too get a lot better, seems to have a fair bit of competitive hardness, good hands and skills. Feck this is a great way too start the weekend, thanks THE MIGHTY DEE’S. I must say I even handled last weeks loss very calmly, what the………..?

My pet hate and source of frustration is the amount of incorrect disposal/dropping the ball. If you take clean possession and it’s clearly not knocked out by tackle and you don’t dispose of it correctly then it’s either htb or incorrect/ dropping the ball. I haven’t ever had the desire to umpire a game, hats of to them.

Job done again, against a determined team. Very similar to all our wins in that we just stuck to the game plan and did all the team things. We have great leaders and fantastic hard workers who don’t stop working together. Wow 9 weekends that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed in a footy season since............I cannot remember.

I reckon every other coach will now be studying very hard on how to beat us, because we are an awesome TEAM.

Don’t change what ain’t broke, but there may be some soreness or management needed on some of the young fellas or older one(s).

He’s already the best “Luke Jackson” I’ve ever seen and will only get better.

Fantastic TEAM effort ALL day, we have a hunting pack of demons that work hard and share it together. Skills definitely improving and kicking for goal improved substantially as the game progressed. All the praise has been said in all posts, fantastic Dlanders.
