  1. Davey on for more pace - so we sub Blease out????
  2. Good mark, Watts... so he has to stay up forward
  3. frawley didn't even put his arms up on the mark
  4. No - you're wrong again and on both counts - 1. I don't hate Watts, he's just not a very good footballer 2. No he's not - watch Terlich (oh, and 3: "your")
  5. We might get up and win this - but the pressure on Neeld won't be released. Watts - sigh.
  6. Stuie - you're just wrong. It will be hard for you accept that - but it's a fact. You've got rose coloured glasses that are restricting your vision - all the people without those glasses are the one's watching the game "properly". If he's injured, that might be why he's NOT chasing HARD
  7. Mate - it's easy to run around - it's hard to play footy - mate.
  8. Watts just gave up on the chase out of our forward line - pathetic and gone. Probably a nice bloke - never want to see him again...
  9. Watts - finished for me... I know he might be better developed somewhere else - I know big guys take longer - I know he has great skills. But he's a big girls blouse - and we just can't keep carrying him in a game where we need to tighten up.
  10. Oh that would be just excellent - loved him
  11. at least Terlich has a go...
  12. Hi Jack Watts - just saw you come into view - nice jogging action
  13. how would howe be in Geelong??
  14. No chance of a centre clearance, I suppose? I really don't understand this - I haven't played enough footy to have a clue about WHY we can't get the ball out of the centre... Is it just skill and nothing we can do about it, or is it structures and coaching, or is it endevour?? sigh
  15. Actually there can be very little difference between trans cutaneous administration and injection. The time course will be different and the drug must usually be made fat soluble. The fact that is a cream makes no difference at all.
  16. Of course drugs can be administered in the forum of creams... The case is far from open and shut. And yes. I hope to heaven that Trenners isn't hit with anything.
  17. Most of us can't get up there to support the boys. How about as many as possible try to get to the Bentleigh Club to cheer them on. I suspect that some of the beer money goes to the club. What do you reckon?
  18. No Time for EFC,but misleading the AFL is dumb dumb dumb
  19. I get that, but for many of us it's round 7 (years) x 22 (or whatever games / year) = round 154... and that's pretty say and demoralising. We've stayed the course, supported the club, turned up, haven't lack backbone, haven't panicked, don't thinkg the sky is falling in, yes the sun will come up... But those of us who have been around for a time are pretty tired of failure, and that's what this club is now (past glories finished in '64, 2 GF since) - we are a monumental failure. We also have a messianic complex - we will find the "saviour" - started with Diamond Jim Tilbrook, Big Carl, Moore and Templeton, Bring Back Barassi, Gutnick, High Draft Picks... there is no saviour - only hard work and good decision making The first of these (hard work) may or may not have been undertaken, but the second (good decision making) is completely absent... It's all a bit sad, really
  20. Let's just say this 1)did happen and 2) was not a good thing from a recovery point of view Who could take the culprits to task and rip them a new one? Just imagine how some of these might deal with it Brereton + Ayers + Dunstall + Mews + Langford + Hodge + Scott + Kennedy That's how far we are away... I will support the boys pulling on the red and blue, but not unconditionally. My conditions aren't onerous (not that they players would give a continental what Frankie_d's conditions) : you have to give your all, keep trying, and do what needs to be done on and off the field. If these boys aren't doing what needs to be done off the field, then I am done with those players until strong leadership pulls them into line... As I said, this depends on 1) and 2) above being true
  21. This, 100 times this. Watts on QB for his first game - Brereton reckons the Collingwood team still refers to Watts as "their [censored]" - might have broken the kid. Let's not break Toumpas, please... the kid seems to have a real sense of responsibility - I suspect he'll run around with Casey for a while, and we'll get a bit better. I agree - let's leave him alone
  22. Yep. Hate to tell you whose style he reminds me of. Initials CM
  23. Completely correct. No booing of the team at all
  24. The banner "No one's as tough as a melbourbe member"
