It will always come up somewhere and be detrimental. Not once ( I think) did any Dees player behave that way, even after the floodgates opened. The best was Fritsch in this regard. he just stuck to nailing his opportunities and ignored his opponents.

I'm confident they learnt their lesson from Round 19. Max had 56 hitouts and Dogs win clearances by 8 I think, maybe more. The Dees coaching group will have this planned to deal with and have the talent to do it.

yes Keath is an interesting one as it seems to keeping popping up in commentary about his injury, being tested, may be ok etc. Brown's runnign will be a challenge. Luke Jackson could well be a trump card for allowing the Dees to just keep running pressure on all day against Martin and/or English.

Is this code for sore and tired. Martin played about 60% game time, the lowest of any dogs player except the injury sub.. he's probably still stuffed from that effort. Gee I hope Bevo selects him.

Well summariesd I reckon. I have been looking at the Dees run of the last 6 games all for wins. We've conceded an everagae of 8 goals a game. There is zero chance of the defence not playing their style of game. One of the best coaches, Chris Scott, had 24 weeks to figure out how to stop May and Lever. Gross Fail. Even with May off. Its the system design that counts.

Good point. I looked at Goodes but felt he was a bit like Jim Stynes who created a ruck-type role for himslef but was playing more like a large midfield who could ruck. Point still stands. The midfielders who now monopolise the award are all pretty good though.
