Things are looking up for the English, they are on top of India and have headed us, reckon they are there to stay. Must say I'm enthusiastic about some of our younger athletes coming through, not sure about Rio but when the CG hit the Gold Coast we are bound to more competitive for medals particularly in some of the distance events.

All the more reason to support the Poms and hope they take the sting out of the Indian batsmen before they visit our shores. I reckon we will handle their attack but their batsmen are more than a handful for most.

You are probably correct. 9 Sunday fixtures in the one season is more than enough though.

The last time the Poms bettered our medal tally at the CG was in 1986 and I'm keen to see that trend continue. Happy with the lead of three as it stands.

Agree with your comments TD, there were plenty of proud competitors on day one judging by reactions. The medal tally in Delhi in 2010 was Australia 74/55/48 = 177, India 38/27/36 = 101, England 37/59/46 = 142 It will be some turn around in the space of 4 years if they manage to knock us off.

Not often I support the Poms, can't stand the Indians for many reasons, not the least being their domination of the game administratively, all because of the mighty dollar or is that rupee..
