The appointment of Peter Jackson for 6 months may well be the very thing the MFC needs. He is beholding to no one and has six months to see the problems and say what he thinks. Unlike a full time employee who has to be careful not to offend the Chairman, board and FD he can say it as he sees it. He will walk in six months and the MFC can like his view or lump it. He is IMO likely to call for some drastic action lets see if the MFC is up to it.

I think your luck ended after you missed out on being in a Carlton Box redleg.Cannot imagine there will be too many dees in that area on Sunday. You know it is bad when long term dees members stop wearing Red and Blue to a game. A friend of mine who I go with most weeks has stopped wearing Red and Blue. he is going on sunday and planning to sit next to Carlton members. He says if he can keep his trap shut they might no guess he is a dees supporter. Bloody sad but there you are.

Sorry hh but I cannot agree with you, what evidence can you provide to prove the list is capable of making the eight.IMO it will struggle to get out of the bottom four in the next couple of years.

Well bb I am sad to see you go but I understand 100% my own thoughts are very close to yours. The MFC is on its knees. Not sure I have the fight left in me any longer either. I will continue to pay my membership because I don't want it on my conscience that I had any small part in its demise. Just like you bb I have almost lost the will to fight on.

Cannot believe this thread is still covering the same ground after 55 pages. IMO we have a very ordinary list that is playing up to its ability and is worse than 2012 so far. A large part of this team has been chosen by this Coach. Due to the poor nature of our list I don't see how it is possible for us in the outer to judge if Neeld is good or not. Only those close to the coal face would be able to make that judgement. However the loss ratio cannot continue past the end of 2013. Unless there is a dramatic change the Coach is gone be it in the next few weeks or at the end of August. Simply with a continuation of the current form it will be impossible to sell Mark Neeld to the Members / Sponsors past 2013. There will need to be hope for 2014 and beyond. For what it is worth ( probably not a lot ) that is my feeling

funny bb but that is exactly how I am handling it.It came to me on the way home from Brisbane on Monday morning. Off to Casey at Port or Uni Blacks on Saturday and Sunday in a football sense does not exist. Day with my daughter and Grand daughter.
