I do not think you need to be at a game to see he has been way less than a number 2 pick over most of the last two years. Now admittedly he has been a bit better the last couple of weeks.

I tend to agree with you wyl. But he is at our club, there is hardly anyone left at the club from that era so lets get on with what we have. Lets keep the $ flowing or we willnot have a club to worry about. Unfortunately he is one of the better ones in a bad lot.

My point Ft was that there may be potential with either Davis or Taggert I think we know the potential of Strauss and Petersen. You are however correct Taggert has done nothing this year to show he should get a game.

FT you had me until this last sentence, Strauss is not AFL standard and you have seen Pedersens best in his high light reel ( one game ) Forget them experiment with Davis ( even though I don't think he is up to it ) or Taggert

Dr here is how I see our list. AFL standard players with really only 5-6 that I see as A grade Jones, Watts, Dawes, Frawley, Trengove, Garland, T. Mcdonald, Grimes, Gawn, Howe, Spencer and Fitzpatrick. Sylvia Will probably move on. Kids Who need a couple of years development. Toumpas, Viney, Tynan, Taggert and Barry Question marks Evans, Kent and Terlick. VFL players with a few worth retaining as depth players M Jones, Byrnes McKenzie, Dunn, Blease, Strauss. Pedersen, Nicholson,Sellar, Tapscott, Bail,Jetta, Jamar. These will be gone in 2014 or should be Roden, Gillies,J McDonald, Leaves Clark I have doubts he will make it back and Davey, may get one more year there have been a lot worse than him this year. Any wonder we are second last and will struggle to beat last in a couple of weeks time.

Tynan and Kent are third round selections so I don't have big expectations for them at present. Hopefully they will blossom into serviceable players over the next couple of years. Barry is a long term prospect, IMO he is way too skinny but lets see by 2015 how he pans out. Taggert is however a second round pick with a lot more expectations on him. So far he has suffered a lot with injury ( don't all our players ) and I am not sure we can judge at this stage. 2014 will be his third year lets hope he shows enough to extend his term.

Mores the pity and Roos cannot play either rjay. More glum than Glee ahead for a while yet.

Of course there is bb If the AFL chose to thumb their nose at Wada, ASADA and the Fed Gov what could they do? Say unpleasant thing about them. It wont come to that but IMO there will be a deal struck!

You have way more confidence in the playing group than me dr.d My list stop at about 12 with another 8 or 9 that are depth players at best. The rest are VFL players.
