    The actions of the MFC over the last decade have driven me to a similar spot Maldonboy.99% sceptic and cynic I hold very similar views to above. Now call it " wanting to believe" if you like but I do get a feeling that he has summed up the MFC very well. Early moves look good. I am now 97%!

    Not sure why we are even discussing this or for that matter why I am bothering. This a an idea floated by the state government to suggested they are doing things. Won't happen or if it does will be a decade away. MFC is in survival mode. It is a pipe dream that we cannot afford. I doubt the new board / CEO have any interest in. Another grand CS dream while we were going down the toilet.

    I have little idea if the kid has it or not at AFL level. But lets keep in mind at all the clubs above us he would probably not have played a game yet. He is a first year player like Viney. With a very few exceptions first year draftees take two to three years to develop into AFL players. I doubt at this point it is his fault, it is the crap around him that is the problem.

    Spot on Maurie If the players don't have the skill they cannot implement any tactic.

    JC could not coach this rag tag lot to more wins. The list is poor. IMO they are giving there best it is just unfortunate that for a large number of them Their best is VFL standard.

    Because we need good seasoned midfield players sd. IMO The kids we would take this year will take two to three years to be good AFL players If we have no senior help they may never develop, as we have seen for the last six years.

    After the last seven years the MFC folding is far from the worst thing that could happen to me. Not sure the MFC can drive me any lower.

    Well it has been six dc and we are worse than 2007 so probably not but If I say more than three out loud I do some self harm. But like WCE I have put the cue in the rack for at least 2014

    Three Redleg!I think eight or nine might be closer to the mark. We currently have one afl standard mid fielder. The rest are either backman or forwards trying to fill holes. Honestly I see three years to make this team competitive. I doubt we will last that long.
