  1. It is amazing how long Neil has lasted with this horrible disease. He must be one of the longest I have heard of. I know of another sufferer who lasted just 21 months.
  2. They haven't been there for decades SL.
  3. I hope you are correct Mr. Leg but I won't hold my breath. We are not Collingwood or Carlton.
  4. It comes with age sue.
  5. I am surprised at the anger on this thread. It was as sure as the sun rising that this would be the result. The system is not fair we have known that for years, some teams always get a better run than others. We are among the ones that get used to show the league's intent to eliminate certain actions from the game. Suck it up and move on.
  6. Sunday morning and we won a game last night against a quality team. My father used to tell me good teams find a way to win when they are not playing well. Forwards played poorly, we were beaten in the centre and backs made mistakes at important points in the game. But we still won and the four points are in the bank. Enjoy today like I will with luck the pies will lose today to complete a good weekend.
  7. Of course a win by 1 point or 50 is still a win. Way better then no so long ago when we used to loose 90% of our games when the games were over at quarter time.
  8. Our tall forward problem is our big weakness.
  9. Last week I said the suns would be hard to beat and got canned for being negative. Hmm!
  10. Tonight was his 5th game I think if not suspended he needs a run at Casey. Last week against North he was poor. At this point in his career he needs to be the second tall not the main event .
  11. If he is fit BB has to come back in.
  12. I look forward to the day he kicks out to the right. So predictable it is a joke
  13. Should we now address you are Sir or Lord Chook.
  14. Not sure I agree, a single malt with the min. temp heading to 3 would be my choice. Hmm tonight it might be three or four.
  15. You need an electric blanket out Bbo or don't you favour those at the manor?
  16. Excuse my error your lordship!
  17. A free xxxx might have been more successful.
  18. I am full of excitement chook! Not sure which to watch Charlie or the Dees. No.1 wife will be keen on Charlie so might have the lap top on Dees with sound off as most weeks.
  19. And the reason why I don't go to night games May to August Steve.
  20. Especially when your pre injury form wasn't great
  21. Geelong is 60 mins from Melb and offers more to young people. Remember draftees are barely 18. The cats have had their share of go homes. Why do you want to deny it will be a problem for the Tassie team?
  22. Thank god this game is on the Gold coast, can you imagine going to the game this Saturday at the G for a 4.30 start. Max temp 13 for the day with showers. Kayo with a nice red sounds like heaven by comparison.
  23. I think it is more likely aimed at the Tassie team. what WA or Qld kid would want to be sent there. Before 3 years is up they would experiencing " mental problems"
