What a joke I struggled to get two last Tuesday in any reasonable area.

Spectators are now very low on the totem pole MS.

No it is about TV ratings. Prime viewing time is 8 -10.30. Spectators are just collateral damage. It wont be long before all games are night games / early evening.

I went with No.1 wife last Friday and in spite of the loss we had a good time however our bodies were feeling the stress Yesterday. A lot of walking and we did not get home till after midnight. I think the last time I looked at the clock it was 2.40 before I drifted off. Another 7.50pm start, nowadays that is really pushing the odds for my aging body. Big decision to make.

I would have thought close to impossible tu. Imo the big difference between last year and this is injuries. Last year we had a dream run. This year we have a number to important players. It's hard to see us beating the Lions next weekend with injured players from last night and several down on form. Add our form at the G, I honestly would rather play them in Brisbane.

We need to do something un Melbourne like. Take a big punt and play JVR. Tmac comes in even if only 90%. We need a solid forward contributor.

As I see it we are way too predictable. E.G. every single kick in goes to the left flank. We never vary, ever what the hell is that about.

A ruckman he might be a forward he ain't. Seems to put in his best games when the team is up. Does little to help when we are playing poorly.

For the life of me I don’t see the big rap that Jackson gets, last night 1 mark, 1 kick, 13 hit outs and 1 clearance. For a second ruckman In any team that would get you dropped the next week. He is living on One quarter in a GF from last year. we lost this game IMO because we have no KPF’s , Brown was poor again and expecting milkshake to be one has less chance that me getting a game next week. We need to play TMac next week at 90% he is better than both of them. Do something we seldom do. Be daring play JVR could he contribute less than Brown?

Over the last few weeks I have watched Jackson closely and have changed my view. He is IMO grossly over rated. Let him go home and get the best possible deal. Then screw the Pies on a Grundy deal as it would appear they want his salary gone.

The weekend has got off to a great start. All my tiger friends will be livid.
