  1. Something's when you are in government you have to make courageous decisions. Not ones based on getting re elected in 2022.
  2. Spot on LDC the QLD public health chief is responsible for a very large part of that. Of course the federal governments ok, not ok, ok then silence did not help.
  3. You really think the borders will be opened in 2022 George? I have large doubts about that. Delta strain will have set new standards by then.
  4. I am not unhappy Mr. Leg just cannot find any joy out of watching football. The country is so messed up by the Covid problems that football seems unimportant.
  5. Not sure you can call a draw with Hawthorn as powering our way out of anything.
  6. I am struggling to care about football at the moment. The chances of going to a game are close to zero and the Dees have decided to return to 2020 form and results. Reading has become my favourite sport and Monopoly with my GD is running a close second at present. 2021 is dead I am looking to a better 2022.
  7. The only one that comes close is the " don't touch the football" from SA.
  8. Can you call the chief medical officer of QLD a Pollie?
  9. Today, wait 24 hours and it will be ok!
  10. Thanks DC, but I won't be using them.
  11. My email said that is what they were. R and B.
  12. You forgot the "Too" DC. Very few people in Government / Medical authorities ever mention it. It astounds me so little is discussed about the effects of the virus.
  13. I think I have kept my cool through the last 18 months however the last two virus outbreaks are beginning to really annoy me. Previous one was from SA and this one from NSW. And the further it goes this looks like it is the result of two groups of people who did not follow the rules. What is that people don’t understand? We are in a pandemic, you could easily get the virus and it kills.
  14. Yes DC, the young think it is only old people who die and it wont happen to me. Even if it does it will just be a bad flu. Some times dying is not the worst thing that can happen.
  15. Better than average chance this is going to be a game without spectators.
  16. I hope it lasts till 30/7 dc. Simple problem in Australia not enough people have died. In the Uk/ USA everyone knows of someone who has died. They are not worried about a very long chance of having a problem. Because they know what is worse.
  17. That is a good reason to try OMD but who would book a flight to WA they close the border while you in the air and then make you quarantine for two weeks. I doubt I will ever travel to WA again, just too hard.
  18. Right now DC most people cannot if they wanted to.
  19. But but it lives in footballs DC!
  20. I might be able to sneak into the Dogs game if it is still in Victoria.
  21. It justifies my decision to stay away from the G until vaccinated. My second shot is booked for 30/7.
  22. Both teams should be removed from the competition for 2 weeks.
  23. It's all about eyes on the game to sell to sponsors. Probably a small financial gain. That's the way of the world in 21st century.
  24. Time to get over it guys. There are not enough tickets to go round, a lot of members are going to miss out. Simple maths.
  25. One thing I have learnt through lock downs etc over the last 18 months is you cannot plan. Just go with the flow. It will happen when it happens. The MFC probably has no better idea than us at this point.
