I think you are correct, I have improved but there are still somethings that are indoors venues that I am still avoiding. I know a few people with not so good respiratory situations that large still avoid crowds even if only a dozen people.

It’s all about TV bd. Attendance at both games runs a bad second with both codes.

My daughter and wife decided to have a brunch get together so I could go to the footy. We had a nice time and I left to go to the footy a little later than I would normally. Arrived at Sunbury line to discover no trains. So decided to drive to the Broady line even if I arrived after the start of the game. Mother's Day traffic was heavy. Arrived at Glenbervie to see the train leave the station. Next train in 20 minutes. By my calculations that would have got me to game well into the second quarter. At this point I admitted defeat and return home. Family was there so we continued mother's Day. Why does the MFC always seem to get these games on mother's Day? Oh well replay tonight will have to do.

Very well said NC. I see lots of people who have passions in there lives that exclude almost everything else in there lives. Like you I am a passionate Dee's fan but not to exclusion of those in my life. Sometimes the MFC comes second.

There is one simple fact at North they don't have the cattle. I went to the first game of the year against the Hawks. They lead that game for more than half the game. The Difference they had no forward to take a big grab. The Hawks did. They would have won the game with Brown at full forward. A fact that was not lost on my North mate.

Interesting kicking two goals in a grand final after 54 years makes Tom an all time great for the MFC. The fact one of them was after the siren when we were well ahead is not recorded in the score line specs.
