  1. Hey Redleg, You are true Red and Blue. This club has the longest history. In the grand scheme of things this is nothing. We will be back.
  2. No doubt you will be leading the posse.
  3. Question is; Who is fighting? Only evidence I've seen is a lot of mindless head banging and bellyaching on this forum.
  4. Incompetent, no, yes,yes,yes.
  5. Not surprised. The story is only half told. The quicker the resolution the quicker we can get this monkey off our backs thats held us up for 5 years.
  6. Too late, its on the record. I'll bookmark your threat to wallk away from the club. Obvioulsy you are losing the plot. Better stay away from that bathtub gin or whatever poison you are currently drinking.
  7. I said they should be sacked or resign. For dragging the good name of this club into the gutter along with their general incompetance.
  8. A few more points. Whilst it is almost certain there was a conspiracy to tank, it is uncertain whether we did actually tank given some remarks attributed to unnamed players. It is stated they tried to defy the directive to tank in the infamous Richmond game. Being a poor side, winning was likely improbable anyway. As they are the representatives of the club on the field and they did try to win then theoretically no tanking actually took place. Different story for the coaches and those responsible for giving the orders though. The coaches were responsible for the moves and tactics though under pressure to follow orders from upstairs. But an argument could be made that they receive leniency or clemmancy for providing evidence to identify those who hatched the tanking conspiracy. If conspiracy to tank can be proved then those individuals should be sacked or resign. The players on behalf of the club never tanked so we the club as an entity should not be punished.
  9. Putting you head into the sand has the same effect.
  10. "I can't remember" is the best defence. So far, too many associated with our club have good memories. Lets find out what the Carlton boys can recollect.
  11. I don't think this club can move forward until they have gone. The bitterness and divisions they have caused are cancerous. This can not be swept under the carpet anymore.
  12. Positively. Best thing to happen to this club in years. The stench of tanking will fade and we will be rid of these incompetents.
  13. He was the first. Seems to be many that have come forward since. Read what I said. They need more witnesses to back up Fevola's allegations. Or else nothing will happen
  14. This may end up being a stalemate which would be the ideal outcome for us but will make CS, CC and maybe McLardy's positions untenable. I think the AFL would be happy with this. If they go so will the story.
  15. If more witnesses come forward then there may be a case to answer. It would be a long stretch to call Fevola a reliable witness let alone a person of good character.
  16. I think you should be looking at the reality of the situation rather than mindlessly vituperating all over the place.
  17. People should remember. Caro's work is only reporting on the matter. If there is real dirt it is to be revealed in the yet uncompleted AFL investigations. They have said they will not be providing a running commentary. Interesting that McLardy, CS and CC are still quiet. They know they are in trouble and their ears must be burning at what the witnesses have said. I doubt we will see any legal actions despite the posturing of some here. It will be a civil matter where balance of probability will decide the outcome and not hard evidence. Plenty of witnesses will sink them. Plus all out dirty laundry sight unseen will be hung out to dry for all to see.
  18. I promise, If anyone buys it, I'll donate the procceds back to the MFC.
  19. Says Gysberts was traded. No mention of 1 and 2 picks.
  20. By saying he has millstone around his neck I mean the current administration. I believe Neeld has been thrust into a very difficult situation and his inexperience as a senior coach does not help. He may have been briefed to see things their way on his appointment. Some of his early media performances were quite cringeworthy and some of his tactics on the field are indeed puzzling. I'm sure he himself would say he could have approached and done some things differently in hindsight. He is not the unbreakable superman who some here seem to think he is. Thats why I abstained from that silly RangeRover poll. I'd like to see him coach unencumbered by the ongoing politics to see if he can really coach or not. And I agree we need an impartial administrator to come in to help get this club on its feet and in the meantime to help sort out this unholy mess.
  21. I bet you don't own a bottle of Shane Woewoedin limited edition Brownlow Medal Port in original box. I can sell you mine.
  22. Currently Neeld has a millstone around his neck from the ugly pre 186 politics. He bought in to Schwab's game when he removed the old player leadership and put in junior players in their place. So hairbrained that it could only be a Schwab initiiative. And we told they were elected by their peers. He's backed himself into a corner.
  23. With the absolute bull this club has been spinning since Schwab came on the scene I would not be surprised if there are rubbery figures out there especially when they withold information. So far any windfall is courtesy of the unique debt demolition event. I have doubts that this club is capable of earning an honest doller yet.
  24. Keep up the good work. Nice to see balance to all the headbanging and denial around here. I truly hope the club does not get punished but the exit movement at the top has to happen or we will never move forward. We have only heard half the story so far.
