Forget about the remaining draw. It’s all about taking opportunities when they arise. We get in position but have blown every main chance since 2016 to put us in finals lock in. Yesterday we crapped ourselves again. We may win more games but chickenshit attitude will hit us at the next crucial moment. The form does not look good and needing a serious readjustment of headspace is not an understatement. ATM it looks like it’s not coming.

The jury is still out if we are even a top 8 side. We were in a similar position last season just after the bye. At least we have the bye break to regroup and we can do without all the hype.

I hope Viney gets back to his best after the bye. Needs more games. Tyson would have been better value in the past couple of weeks.

In hindsight Frost may have been a better option than J Smith. His pace may have been handy and more useful to get a second tall spoiler onto Cox when required.

Though it was almost a repeat of R23, this game was more like round 15 when we were smashed by the Swans after winning four in a row. We were quite listless after that. Hopefully the bye will help us this time to regroup.

Over pumped the tyres again. Thought we could walk into 2nd spot. Last season it was finals. Players need to learn that those positions are usually hard won and not gifted especially by the pies.

We better find something during the bye period. We were travelling well after 12-13 rounds last season and still missed out. We are only one game plus some percentage still in. It can get really ugly. I hope not.
