  1. Love your work picket. As usual, dispassionate, objective and unambiguous
  2. We wouldn't bemoan him if they were six we agreed with.
  3. I hope I'm wrong ................ but this is a [censored] of a selection
  4. How the [censored] long is it since Brown played a game ? And that was a shocker !!!! I suppose he's been killing it at Casey.
  5. Desperation stations !!!!! Six changes !!!!!!!! [censored] me !!!!
  6. Well Jim ................the wheel nuts were always a bit loose !
  7. Bennell? Class and pace.
  8. Is that a childhood pic of Bindy?
  9. You're [censored] me !!!! Aren't they in a bloody hub?
  10. Strong drink in large amounts solves most issues Franky!!
  11. I wondered that also Luci. He's still a kid - maybe soreness or injury.
  12. Interesting to hear Neita but jeez those two are lightweight interviewers. I'm glad I don't have my brain sucked out by listening to SEN.
  13. FMD, Balmy is as old as me !! Might as well check out Joe Biden.
  14. Quite so Moonie!! For about a third of our history, i.e. the last 50 - 60 years, we have been abject [censored] ups !
  15. Yeah .... well.... maybe. I can well understand where @Jaded was coming from believe me. Especially when you look back at times when the Black Dog was snapping at your heels. However, after you get through that [censored] and get older ...... well you realize that there is some good [censored] happening in the world and it's worth enjoying.
  16. Any volunteers to try out that vaccine that Vlad's mob claim to have produced?
  17. I reckon we can and will beat the aints. What worries me, is that the Bullies (who I believe are underrated by many here) will steamroll the Cats and still remain a game clear of us. Bullies at $2.50 on Sportsbet is not a bad investment.
  18. Imagine if Fritsch kicked a few of those he missed!
  19. Bob !!! What a sterling fellow you are !! I shall purchase 1 for each room at The Manor !
  20. FMD Jaded that is a sadly cynical and "jaded" world view. There are plenty of oxygen thieves, out there, no doubt about it, but there are some bloody good people as well. Be inspired by them.
  21. Have to disagree with you on this one Luci. As we know Max has had knee issues in the past and I don't reckon even the slightest risk can be justified. In any event, I don't think the Max/Pruess issue would in itself be a game changer.
  22. They've flown over on the way to China Deemented!
  23. I notice a number of posters calling for 5 or even 6 changes. That is desperation stations and wont happen. With the aim of some sort of team stability, I would reckon 3 or, tops, 4. Now as to who they might be, I must as usual, admit to bafflement. Sparrow is a given. I guess if Max is right, Pruess will go but he is stiff as he's more than earned a spot on his performances. Tmac is a real question mark but he did take a couple of grabs against the dogs but missed a couple of others. Had he taken them and converted - it's a good game. In fairness though the conditions were not conducive to marking. He'll stay. I love Jones but even if he comes up fit, his lack of pace would be exposed against the aints. Love to see Bennell in because he has pace and classy skills. Skills were clearly in deficit against the Dogs. He's received a few whacks on this forum for being soft. Unfairly I believe. He's not naturally a bash and crash type but, even if he were, he's still got work to do in simply building up confidence in his body. Spargo was ordinary but will get another chance. Kozzie is the future not the present but , as I said on another thread, how else is he going to learn? Anyway just musing over a Shiraz. Out. Sparrow, Pruess and ??? In. Max, Bennell and Rivers.
  24. Quite right Norm. Kozzie's inexperience stands out like dogs balls and he certainly makes some clangers. Unfortunately, this crazy season has forced players like him and Jackson to "learn on the job", whereas, in the usual run of of events , they would be doing their apprenticeship at Casey. But ....... you are just left with the feeling that we might be watching the growth of a future superstar small forward.
  25. I mentioned this possibility after his outstanding game against the Dogs. He has built his contribution over the season and also seems to be an onfield leader. (did anyone else notice him addressing the players in the pre game huddle?) I also really like his aggressive attitude and attack on the ball.
