  1. Didn't he label himself as a one club player?
  2. GWS And Their List Of Targets Revealed Basically there's a file called 'GWS Confidential' on the stats site (Prowess) used by GWS. When installed it gives you 46 reports of AFL players in PDF files, so it's easy to assume that they're trying to recruit some of these players. The Melbourne players on the list are Cale Morton, Jack Grimes, Jack Trengove, Jack Watts, James Frawley and Tom Scully. The list was created in September last year, so only Morton and Scully are still uncontracted from that list. Poor form, GWS. Anyway, the full list of players found in the file is at the link above.
  3. My view of Bennell is a line-breaker who plays in bursts and can kick a few goals. His defensive game needs work and those cameos haven't been happening this season, so he's in a similar position to Petterd - he should go back to Casey to work on things. Petterd was much more unlucky to be dropped, though.
  4. Oh, and Rohan Bail's shooting up my current favourite player leaderboard. In my top 5.
  5. So did James Hird... FWIW if Dean Bailey was to be sacked I'd like Paul Roos to take over. I'd imagine we'd stick with Bailey though.
  6. Should do a couple of polls on this. Mine are Ricky Petterd and Adem Yze. A former gun and a future gun
  7. Good to see Jordie's a chance.
  8. Bull's right to play this week - gets a reprimand and 93.75 points to his record with an early guilty plea for his hit on Mark Nicoski. Link
  9. No thanks. If we do have a new coach a the end if the year it should be Paul Roos.
  10. Dammit, that means six weeks of good footy from the Hawks on the way.
  11. Dal Santo for O'Keefe and Darling? Whoa. Edit: What the fuuuuuuuck, just checked the live scores this week to see five players not playing this week because of the bye when I clearly remember swapping them out. And pressing the 'Save Changes' button. This sucks.
  12. It was mentioned earlier, but from previous experience it will flare up and swell, but after a few hours. It does hurt, but you'll be able to come back on - it just depends on if you've done anything else to your knee. I strained a ligament as well as dislocating it so it felt wobbly and awkward. Luckily I didn't have to hit it, it just popped back in itself
  13. People forget games like Round 17 last year so quickly... The two main reasons we lost last night are: 1. West Coast's zoning which we couldn't/took too long to penetrate. 2. Our shithouse performance from Green, Moloney, Sylvia, Jurrah, Frawley, Bennell, Morton, Rivers, Jones, Dunn and to a lesser extent, Grimes and Davey. Our entire leadership group is in that list, plus key players in Jurrah, Frawley and Morton. No team can win a game of footy when that happens. That's a player problem and Dean Bailey will not be sacked because our senior players were crap.
  14. The general opinion Quarterbrain is an idiot and I'm happy to see all of the TV rights go to Seven so that I don't have to listen to him. Bull will be incredibly unlucky to get a week.
  15. Very impressive last night, good to see him putting his body on the line.
  16. I'd say bring on Foxtel...but considering I'm still in high school I don't really get a say. Damn.
  17. True. If you survived all of 2008, you can survive one loss in Perth in 2011.
  18. IN: Petterd, Blease (depending on Casey performance, otherwise Maric) OUT: Dunn, Morton

    Tanking?

Fuuuuuck, people overreact around here. But I should be used to it, shouldn't I?
  20. 6 - Colin Garland 5 - Jack Trengove 4 - Jack Watts 3 - Rohan Bail 2 - Nathan Jones 1 - Jack Grimes
  21. Surprised about Dunn being the sub, but more surprised about Gaff being the sub for the fourth (?) time.
  22. EFA. They say don't change a winning side, but Petterd's talent is wasted at VFL level. He's also a medium forward (185 cm, 85 kg) so he won't force Wonaeamirri out of the side.
