  2. True. Also, past draft picks can't be compared to Scully. White left because he wanted to come back to Melbourne. Scully, if he is leaving, is chasing money. Two different situations.
  3. *creates yet another paranoid thread on Tom Scully/Dean Bailey/inconsistency/premiership hopes
  4. And in order of return: Mark Jamar (knee) - test Luke Tapscott (hamstring) - test Neville Jetta (hand) - 2 weeks Rohan Bail (knee) - 2-3 weeks Kelvin Lawrence (quad) - 2-3 weeks Michael Newton (foot) - 4 weeks Jack Fitzpatrick (ankle) - 4-6 weeks Aaron Davey (knee) - 5 weeks Jack Grimes (foot) - season Jake Spencer (knee) - season
  5. Good to see you guys getting involved with Demonland.

    2008 Draft

Okay, this is 2007. Cale Morton (4) Notable picks afterwards: Jarrad Grant (5), Rhys Palmer (7), Lachlan Henderson (8), Ben McEvoy (9), Patrick Dangerfield (10), Cyril Rioli (12) Thoughts: Morton's going well. Henderson would be good structure wise, but he won't be a gun CHF. Rioli would be good because he's Rioli, but I think Morton will end up the best of the lot. Jack Grimes (14) Notable picks afterwards: Harry Taylor (17), Callan Ward (19) Thoughts: Taylor's a gun, but Frawley's as good and three years younger. Grimes is a future captain. Addam Maric (21) Notable picks afterwards: Scott Selwood (22), Tayte Pears (23), John McCarthy (31), Levi Greenwood (32), Sam Reid (35), Scott Thompson (37), Dennis Armfield (46), Bradd Dalziell (52) Thoughts: Selwood's handy, but Maric will be a good player. Can justify taking Reid ahead of him. Kyle Cheney (53) Notable picks afterwards: Cale Hooker (54), Craig Bird (59) Thoughts: Wouldn't mind Bird. Cheney wasn't a great player but he's no longer our concern. Tom McNamara (66) Notable picks afterwards: Does Kepler Bradley (69) count? Thoughts: None. Stefan Martin (PSD1) Notable picks afterwards: PSD pick, can't really do comparisons Trent Zomer (R3) Notable picks afterwards: Nathan Grima (R14), Brodie Moles (R16) Austin Wonaeamirri (R19) Notable picks afterwards: Jeremy Laidler (R32), David Ellard (R34) Jake Spencer (R35) Notable picks afterwards: Pearce Hanley (R38), Ed Curnow (R40) Shane Valenti (R49) Notable picks afterwards: Brodie Martin (R52), Callum Wilson (R55), Shane Mumford (R57) There.
  7. Disagree with these. Warnock is harsh - he still provides good cover. Agree in that he'll be at another club next year. Gysberts went missing when 75% of our team went missing, as considering he's played 10 or so games I couldn't care less about that. He's been brilliant. Grimes has been unfortunate with injury in that they've all been in different parts of his body. Was playing well - but not really well - before his injury. You marked Green too highly. Maric has been good. Better than 'D' good, which isn't really good at all.
  8. I wouldn't want the Green effect to occur with Sylvia. Give it to Beamer who leads regardless of his title and bleeds for the club.

    Jack Trengove

I don't know exactly how the progression works but the second offence is what Trengove got.
  10. Has been offered an $1800 fine for umpire contact. Again. I think there's some people that don't like him...
  11. The Good Sylvia Strauss Morton Howe The Bad Sitting four seats away from my Collingwood-supporting Year 11 Chemistry teacher...'Better luck next year' as he walked past me at half time Jurrah Collingwood supporters appealing for a free whenever a player gets tackled The Ugly Green Cloke kicking six before the change of opponents Our kicking efficiency The inside 50 count The Absolutely Disgraceful Razor Ray Chamberlain...when you're being compared to McLaren (by me, at least) you're a [censored] umpire.
  12. Yeah, but I just experienced my loss to West Coast. Edit: Up for trading. Need some player who are going to rack up the disposals, preferably not midfielders as I'm set with Bartel, Hodge, Boak and McKenzie in there, unless good offers are made. Feel free to check out my list and make some offers.
  13. It took the Saints 8-9 years to get to the Grand Final.
  14. I'm the Melbourne of 2010.
  15. The only way Bartram doesn't play is if his eye turns out to be significantly more damaged.
  16. 6 - Colin Sylvia 5 - Stefan Martin 4 - Cale Morton 3 - Nathan Jones 2 - James Strauss 1 - Joel Macdonald
  17. Howe's been great. Chuck Cook in at FF, I reckon. Two players who can take a mark, who need and deserve time in the side.
  18. No changes for Collingwood, Goldsack the sub. Heading off now with my sports top on underneath my jumper - only collared shirt I've got
  19. I'm losing to Scarlett. No offence, Scarlett.
  20. I just can't imagine Ricky racking up 39 disposals. Happy to be proven wrong, though.
  21. So he'll be more of a full forward for us, rather than a centre half forward? Watts, Cook, Jurrah, Petterd, Howe, Dunn, Maric, Wonaeamirri, Bennell...our future forwards look awesome. And surely Petterd's 39 disposals is wrong. I'd say get him in tomorrow if that were the case
