  1. I could think of better ways and more painless ways of having some good luck, than thinking I had broken my leg and then finding out it was just a sprain :-)
  2. Since when has Craig been our coach?
  3. This has already been discussed elsewhere... and for what it's worth, I couldn't disagree with you more... the Crows were not built in a day!
  4. Out: Supporters who blindly accept everything that is dished up to them and support for the sake of supporting In: Supporters who genuinely support by offering up constructive criticism when required and offering up honest open dialog about where the club is at.

Can't argue with that... I'm just dreading the thought of seeing him have a blinder against us later this year.
  6. If we had managed to tank better than Carlton you could have said "Nik Nat paddy whacked"
  7. No... he was saying these things on the Sydney radio broadcast he was a part of, during the last quarter.
  8. I'm glad the MFC are getting whacked by all and sundry... eventually it might sink in that something is amiss and needs addressing.

True RF, but the problem is, he would still probably run rings around most of our players the way we are performing at the moment.
  10. He was ready to go by half time, but I convinced him to stay for another quarter. He expected the loss, as did I, but neither of us expected them to go down without so much as a whimper - he actually said to me "we've lost this" when we were just half way through that first quarter :-). We left at three quarter time and one of the things that struck me was the numbers of Swans supporters leaving the ground... speaks volumes for the kind of performance they were witnessing when they couldn't be arsed sticking around to savour the victory!
  11. I don't know about that... Davey put in a good showing at the coin toss! (I was there too... still trying to erase it from my memory - might need counselling).
  12. Hmmm, it seems to have started earlier than I anticipated: http://demonland.com/forums/index.php?/topic/30271-blues-and-roos/#entry568189
  13. All who attend should maybe wear black armbands until there is a victory worth celebrating (and no, GWS and GCS don't count).
  14. Yes, but you watch... come Friday, there will be a number on here who will be posting about how we may be able to sneak a victory ;-)
  15. I would think maybe he was responding to masses of tweets, some of which were no doubt, from people who contribute to these forums. I don't think we demonlanders hold exclusive rights to jumping all over that kind of player behavior.
  16. Well, I was at the game and what I noticed was that many of our players away from the contest were just ambling around, not manning up and as a result once they got free of a contest, the Swans players almost always always found a loose target because our players were playing completely unaccountable football and allowing their man far to much space. When we had the ball it was simply a case of kick and hope. I actually made a similar observation to that of the OP in the post match discussion (I think it was) in saying that although I was out of the country when 186 happened, I imagined it must have been very similar...numbers mean little, but the performance was the most insipid I can recall seeing in a long long time. I got more enjoyment watching the AusKickers going around.
  17. Casey in, everyone excepting Jones and Clark, out.
  18. 6 Jones 5 Watts 4 Magner 3 Blease No one else
  19. Well the fact it is not a joke makes it all the more funny.
  20. Based on what I saw today, we will definitely lose to both of those teams... absolutely no doubt about it!!
  21. Now, I wasn't in the country (thankfully) win 186 occurred, but I get the feeling that this may not have been too far off in terms of an insipid performance. The only thing that I am taking away from this game is an overwhelming sense of guilt for having subjected my young son to this. I have to admit that we bailed out at three quarter time. The only thing worth seeing was Howes mark of the year, and that happened on the opposite side of the ground, so we didn't even get to enjoy that! I spent the second and third quarters mentally piecing together an email I would like to send to the club... if it is still in my head come tomorrow, I may write it.
