What's the situation with Boak?
-
What we really need is the Collingwood Football Club doctor. Their blokes break legs and they're back in the team 13 days later. Our blokes break a leg and they're in moonboots for three months!
-
Doubt if we'll see Tom Scully. Dandenong Stingrays are rank underdogs to win the prelim final v Geelong Falcons.

The fact that he's on the club's official injury list as - "Michael Newton (Achilles) test" suggests the whole story is a crock.
-
The official list (Daniel Hughes and Jordie McKenzie might unofficially be on the list too!) Michael Newton (Achilles) test Ricky Petterd (groin) test Matthew Whelan (hamstring) test Matthew Bate (ribs) 1 week Simon Buckley (hip) 1 week Rohan Bail (quad) 2 - 3 weeks Rhys Healey (hamstring) 3 weeks Daniel Bell (shoulder) season Sam Blease (leg) season Cameron Bruce (wrist) season Colin Garland (leg) season Brad Green (wrist) season Jack Grimes (hip) season Addam Maric (shoulder) season John Meesen (foot) season James Strauss (shoulder) season Matthew Warnock (ankle) season Austin Wonaeamirri (knee) season
-
Full moon tonight, I suppose.
-
Young blood McKenzie delights Demons Nice story but it looks as if he's out for the rest of the year.
-
Only player to kick 5 goals in a game this year ... so far
-
The colour red signifies players who won't be seen again this season: Rohan Bail (quad) – 3-4 weeks Daniel Bell (shoulder) – season Jamie Bennell (knee) – 1-2 weeks Sam Blease (leg) – season Cameron Bruce (wrist) – season Colin Garland (foot) – season Brad Green (wrist) – season Jack Grimes (hip) – 1-2 weeks Rhys Healey (quad) – indefinite Mark Jamar (quad) – test Liam Jurrah (ankle) – test Jordie McKenize (calf) – test Brock McLean (knee) – test Addam Maric (shoulder) – season John Meesen (foot) – season Jared Rivers (groin) - test James Strauss (shoulder) – season Jack Watts (hand) – 1 week Matthew Warnock (ankle) – season Paul Wheatley (quad) – 1 week Matthew Whelan (plantar fascia) – 1 week Austin Wonaeamirri (knee) – season
-
Danny Hughes copped a corkie last week and was probably given the week's break to get it right. There's a fair chance however, that one or both of PJ or Robbo will line up against the Roos today.
-
It seems that both of the adversaries for Sunday's game seem to be having some trouble deciding who is and who is not injured ATM: Source afl.com.au
-
Jake Spencer has made his way back into the side at the expense of Cale Morton. I don't know what ails Morton but I wish him a speedy recovery and hope he's back in the side by round 1 of 2010!
-
I'm surprised that Brock McLean is not on that list. Quite frankly, he looked very proppy late in the Port Adelaide game and he really struggled against Geelong. Give him a break please Dean Bailey! Jack Watts also shown on Ten tonight nursing a finger injury!
-
Highlights of the injuries at other clubs: West Coast - Winged Eagles Cox and Kerr could miss rest of season The lesson to this is that if you want a priority pick then employ incompetent medical staff    Our opponents this week, Geelong: Gary Ablett one of six Geelong reinforcements
-
Still TBC on the afl site but the media, as usual, are ahead of the game: Daniel Bell (shoulder) season Sam Blease (leg) season Simon Buckley (groin) test Colin Garland (foot) season Rhys Healey (quad) 2 weeks Tom McNamara (hip) test Addam Maric (shoulder) season John Meesen (knee) season Jake Spencer (ankle) test James Strauss (shoulder) season Austin Wonaeamirri (knee) 3-4 weeks Belly joins the walking wounded out for the season. Maric's now officially on that list, Aussie's progress is painfully slow and there are a few who look like restarting their seasons this week in the Casey twos if they can pass their tests.
-
According to afl.com.au - "TBC" The most accurate injury list so far!
-
Team: B Panozza Silvagni Taylor HB Whelan Faulks Wall C Matthews Valenti Chivers HF Hughes Watts Newton F McGough Miller Stockdale Foll Johnson Bartram Creed IC Bail Cheney McKenzie Mohr Ryan Jamie Bennell is obviously emergency for tomorrow. Ryan is the TAC 23rd man.
-
This is supposed to be the official injury list. However, it doesn't include Addam maric who is said to have undergone a shoulder reconstruction. We breed them tough if Maric plays this week. Also not included is Jack Watts, presumably over his migraine and ready to resume somewhere this week. It's getting close to the point where Aussie might as well pack it in for the season. He's not due back until Round 18 at the earliest and would need a couple of games at Casey at the very least to establish some fitness. Injured: Sam Blease (leg) – indefinite Simon Buckley (groin) – 1-2 weeks Colin Garland (foot) – indefinite Rhys Healey (quad) – 2 weeks Tom McNamara (hip) – 1-2 weeks John Meesen (knee) – indefinite Jake Spencer (ankle) – 1-2 weeks James Strauss (shoulder) – indefinite Austin Wonaeamirri (knee) – 3-4 weeks Suspended: Colin Sylvia – 3 weeks
-
WC with no Cox, no Kerr, an immature ruck and midfield and playing away from home. It's a no brainer. Melbourne to win at last (and by at least 5 goals)!
-
Hughes and Maric both missing as well. Presumably Maric still has a problem with his shoulder which he injured at Williamstown.
-
Every week they publish an injury list and every week there's a player or two not on the list who misses the following game. This week it's Watts, Hughes, Maric and Strauss. Why have an injuy list at all?
