If he wants to play afl again and can abide by the roos culture why not?

The big if is whether he wants to be in Melbourne again.

Roos is going for a quick start, gettting people he doesn't need to explain the whole culture thing to.

What a weekend of joy, we get a real coach, Ports win gives me hope. Collingwood lose, Geelong lose, Richmond lose the only downside was Hawthorn and Carlton won.

Voss is a good choice. Has learnt from mistakes likely to want to learn from Roos. Has already shown he can coach at the highest level so it only has upside.

I thought ling said he wanted to coach but not next year.

Roos said a lot about the Buckley model and voss is from the same sort of cloth.

The way pj and Roos work I bet we will nab him quickly.

Welcome Paul Roos, how sweet it is.

Rumour is Roos has been waiting for post 5000 to come up and use it for his annoucement.

I don't think he has signed yet.

I take him absolutely at face value and he is yet to finally decide.

I suspect he has told PJ he wants to give his family time to think it over whilst they are on holidays and if that timing doesn't suit then club can move to its agenda (as if they would). I bet the trip has been planned for a while and he doesn't want to disrupt it in any way.

We will know next week but it could still be a no.

Whatever the outcome a classy performer who committed to the club.

He deserves our thanks for all his efforts.

I'm hoping Melbourne win well as I will be taking my 19 month old to his 1st game. His Melbourne jersey with number 4 on the back arrived last week. Looking forward to our family outing.
