UPDATE : Check the 1st post of this thread to see if you have been marked off as confirmed to play in 2016. We still have a few teams in the STYNES league yet to confirm themselves as starters. (non confirmed means a forfeited place in the league) At this stage I am thinking of giving it 2 more weeks (as of today), before I start filling the Stynes League with teams from the R.Flower league. This will allow enough time for everyone in the other leagues , time to be sent their League Code and join their respective league. Thanks for your co-operation and patience.

Welcome back, its been awhile. Heaps of spots left. And still working on the Stynes League. I'll give it a bit more time for confirmations before juggling the other leagues around. In the meantime, sit tight and I'll PM your league code when Div 1 is sorted. All I require atm is your team name. btw you can join the Group league now if you havent done so already (optional)

Nice job on the training reports guys.... in fact too good!! Left me with nothing other than to confirm it was pretty much what I had to report. I will say Trenners is moving very well, Hogan has bulked up, his upper thighs are coming along nicely, that should help his kicking distance. As a whole the group no longer has skinny runts that will be easliy pushed off the ball. (Apart from the tall new guys,they'll take more time to develop) What impressed me most was the ball movement all over the ground in the Match Sim. Did NOT see one hospital handball, players were making space and running forward (finally) Still some sloppy disposals that missed their target, until that improves more, we will kill momemtum when we have the ball. More times than not, they got it correct. I left feeling confident with what I seen. Its been awhile since I was able to attend a training session. Previously left feeling a bit more than peeved in what I watched. But not today, if they can carry that into a real game, we are going to put the wind up a few good teams that we have had trouble beating in the past. That is the key, doing it under pressure. They have stopped running the guys into the ground with repeated running, its so good to see them moving the ball around by hand and foot. Kinda reminded me of the late 80's when we played like a football team. Jonesy didnt look good, I doubt it was serious, but he walked off to the boundry and had his leg / knee worked on, he gave a yelp,when behind his knee was worked on. Only a guess on my behalf, but maybe a sore tendon behind the knee. He walked around for 10 mins then went inside. Brayshaw looks like he may also have a knee complaint. He was sprinting hard, then stopped dead, Heard him say its a bit sore. Again a guess, when he loaded up the knee to stop, it was a bit uncomfortable. Then had it strapped, did some sprints for about 20 mins then off came the strapping. So perhaps nothing more than a niggle. I got a close look at Petracca. I will only say, if I had the ball and I seen him barrelling towards me, I would be wanting to get rid of it pretty quick. He's built like the brick outhouse.

I'd be the last to hand out advice. I was travelling well, up to the byes,when the wheels got a wobble (sitting 1200 overall), I missed the GAbblett / Rockcliff carnage. 80% of my rookies were firing. Only used a couple of trades. Then the treaded byes came and went along with my season. This year Salem, Petracca and Gawn are looking like starters. Last year I only had Hogan and Brayshaw then traded both out. Gawn I hope stays fit, (I pray he stays fit) I'm not convinced to leave him for this year. Those knees make me gun shy. Salem could be in for a good year. Petracca M/F shouldn't be overlooked. I cant see the value in Viney, $$ spent might be better served on a player than can bring home 120+ pts I don't think Viney has that in him I have M.King on the bench, which one? buggered if I know which one. Max I hope. But having 2 Dee Rucks isnt good for the byes. I'm just throwing darts until the pre season kicks off.

Too be honest I am not sure what's going there. You Can join the 'Melbourne Demons Group League' now. No Waiting. Don't confuse it with your comp league, this Group League isnt a our comp league. Your league code with be sent when we finalise the Stynes league. I best I can suggest is .... login to SC, (using lasts years details) , then you should be asked to confirm your details (approx 5 questions) then click agree to the terms, and you are all set to go. Start selecting your team, if you get that far, then you know you have your correct login / password correct then try entering the Group code, or enter the full link and you should be added to the Group league. Other than all of that, anyone else shed some light on skills32 probs?

Good question. There are currently 12 teams that have joined the "Group League" . Perhaps click the link 1st, then login in. when requested. Anyone else had any probs with the above link? Or did you click the link and then login in?

It seems everyone likes to play their cards close to their chest (Looking at the Stynes League here) But if some want to discuss players selections or give , ask advice here is the place to do it. I wouldnt mind hearing Demon Spofforth / Centimetre Perfect story on how he was feeling up to and then, to fall just a tad over 800 pts short on taking out 1st prize in 2015.

Now the important part. Keep checking this thread so you all know where we are at ,in regards to finalising all the leagues for 2016. Depending on who has or hasn't confirmed for 2016, I will be updating all the leagues with those that have confirmed. So don't be surprised if you end up in a higher league than you are currently listed in. I will be now sending out Private messages to your personal inbox with your league code to join your league, therefore keep an eye on a notice stating your have a new message. Then join your league as quickly as possible. (this part I dread, as I have no control over this), If you take too long to confirm you are playing in 2016 and then join your league, I will have to start juggling teams around to fill the leagues with 18 teams.otherwise its just holding everyone else up waiting for their league code, then left wondering why their code invite hasnt been sent. Then it all gets a bit messy. But I might add most everyone in the past has been quick to respond. The Stynes League code is now being sent to those that have confirmed. To everyone else in the other leagues, while you wait for the coaches in the Stynes league, you can play around with your team selections in the meantime. Sorry if I don't reply to every single post that has expressed their gratitude for my efforts running the comp. I appreciate the feedback from everyone, it makes it all worthwhile. Therefore a BIG thanks back from me. Yes, I know who you are. I was also in the Group league and keeping an eye your score. You gave the outright overall win a big scare, well done. Welcome officially to the comp, and to Demonland as a new poster. I doubt anyone will object to me using the power (invested by my humble self, I might add) in invoking the "Bradbury Award" to you, and promote you into the Stynes league.

At a guess, probably an outside chance at best . j/k I forgot to upload the 2016 Legends Starting League. Well done on the promotion. I'll take an easy win every day of the week But I've really had enough of looking for easy options , such as high drafts picks and the draw. We need to play the best clubs and beat them, then we can say we are improving. I'll get far more satisfaction beating top 8 teams,than those cellar dwellars. If I ever get to see Hoges kick 8 against the dawks, I;ll be over the moon. As for the EFC, they can rot in hell
