Update: Bar a couple yet to use their league code, everyone has been sent a code and are in their leagues. I have a couple more to send out. That will cover everyone that has confirmed so far up until today.

Welcome to the 'nut house" and the comp. I have marked you as a starter, just need your team name, Then wait until I get Stynes League sorted, a notice will appear highlighting a msg in your inbox, so keep an eye on that to popup in the coming week or two.

For anyone interested, as we do every year, we have a Group League open. This is NOT a comp league. anyone can join ,invite friends as well. The Group League name : Melbourne FC and the code to join = 231833 PS: have from now started on getting coaches into Div 2 / R.Flower league. D1 has been the holdup. Still plenty of time, and heaps of room if you want to join in the comp.

This was supposed to go into the opening post. But edit had expired. A little bit of trivia info for some, regarding this years promotions etc , mainly for those wondering if this promotion thing works. Div 1 / Stynes League - Promoted were Micksdemons/Micksdemons + Optimus D /Demon Dees from Div 2 Demoted were Gorgoroth / Melbourne Rams + furious d / Flying Eyeballs Div 2 / R.Flower League - Promoted were Little Goffy / Inflorescent Carcasses + RedBlueandTrue / Blue Lighting from Div 3 Demoted were Demonland / Demonland + ArtificialWisdom / ArtificialAllStars

Were you in the comp last year? If so, what team name did you use?. No biggie, just checking.

A few of us losers would like to know what team name Stretch Johnson will be using, so we all know when to expect a pummelling.

Another UPDATE: A few from last years Stynes league have yet to reply, I will give it another week before writing them off as non starters this year. With approx 4 weeks to go before we kick off 2018 there is still time for the other leagues to be sorted out. IF you have already confirmed and haven't received a league code yet, keep a close eye on your PM box as from now. I will crunch the numbers for Div 2 (R.Flower League) and begin to get some in there. PS: IF you are thinking about playing, but haven't make a request to join the comp or confirm yourself,now would be a good time to avoid a last minute request.

UPDATE: Just a handful in the Stynes League to confirm themselves. For everyone waiting, hang in there. you haven't been forgotten.

UPDATE: The Jim Stynes League (Div 1) Code has been sent to the coaches that have confirmed and qualify for that league thus far. (Check your PM Box) A few new coaches have requested to play. So welcome to you. You will have a bit of a wait ahead until the higher leagues get sorted out. Just keep checking this thread as I will be posting updates. In the meantime you can fine tune your supercoach team to kill some time.Still early days, so there's a way to go. The Supercoach 2015 has my post explaining how the comp works.

Only one question needs to be asked ...... who is playing ?? Post your Coach name along with Team name from 2017 and I will take it from there. If you have changed your details since then could you also post that was well. With approx 54 coaches and teams playing , it can all get a bit too hard trying to figure out who was who. Now you can change any of those details at anytime, I just ask you to tell me so I can update your details. If you are new to Demonland or want to join in again and want to have some added fun while watching our Dees kick some arse, just post in here as stated above, we'll get you into a league. PS: If you played last year, you have qualified for a league already. If you need to know what league (Division) that is I can post that. BUT it does NOT mean you are in until you CONFIRM. The earlier you confirm, the less chance of missing out and then join your League as quickly as you can when notified..(By PM) Speaking on PM''s now would be a good time to clear out your inbox of unwanted messages. IF you take too long to join your league once notified I will replace you with another team, the lower leagues will be waiting until the higher leagues are filled.

One of Jetta's better games. Loved his run off the backline at times. The filth really showed us up in that area. I'm really pleased his is making the most of his chances, he must have been so close to getting the flick. Maybe a few borderline players on the list can take something from Nevs fortune. I suggest you do exactly as you preach. If you dont like the topic/subject dont read it, sport. On your reasoning, you going to jump up and down if someone posts about R.Flower, D.Neitz horror shock they are also in the past. I see nothing wrong than doing back over past mistakes and learning from them and not repeating it. Dr Who strikes again. NP. But like I said that info was a few yrs ago, today there might be a better and cheaper way to do it. IIRC foxtel passes through the DVD recorder and the recorder to the TV. I used the panasonic not just for recording from the TV, but I edited a bucket load of VCR tapes on to cd /dvd edited out the adverts etc.So it has added benefits. Like anything in life do your research 1st. then make a descision.

AFAIK your best bet is to buy a DVD recorder with 320+gig HD, dump the data onto the DVD recorder then burn to usb or dvd /cd disc. I know a panasonic dvd recorder will do it. But havent tried it with foxtel myself. Some tech wizards on here might know of a better way. I looked into this a few yrs ago. I have a panasonic recorder that I use to record, then burn to dvd from the TV, But never invested in foxtel.There was info on the net about setting this up.

Who would have predicted this result. Not I. Best I was hoping for was to win the ashes back,it didnt matter to me if we only one 1 Test.So long as it was enough to win the series. The signs were there in England, We went down with the scoreline showing 3 nil in favour of the enemy. But to those not wearing rose coloured glasses that scoreline could and should have read a lot closer than 3 nil. With fortunes not running our way,weather affected results and disasterous descisions not going our way.We had no choice but to take it on the chin and move on. Enter the poms back into the ring, cocky, smug and thinking easy peasy. Just like the battle back in 1874, little did they know they were walking into an ambush. And exit the poms .. shellshocked I wont gloat, this Aust team is good but not great.
