speaking of former players did you see in the herald sun today Moloney could be looking for another club as he has been overlooked for senior selection since r5. He has fully recovered from his back injury but hasnt been picked Justin is playing the younger kids. It mentions a falling out with the coach. So maybe Neeld wasnt all the problem.
-
well im hoping for a good win today. It would be nice if we were in front for most of the day and not have to fight from a long way back like last week. We owe nth.
-
stupid adelaide. Had a chance to get in the 8 or near it. Why couldnt they just win and compound those bombers even more.
-
Nathan Buckley @ncb_cfc 1h Incident with Wittsy says more about his coach than the player. Still room for challenges to be laid in this game but too overt today.
-
witts responded. he played better and kicked 2 goals. Maybe some players can handle that and respond to it. While for others it just crumbles them. But yeah it wasnt a good look and I guess it was a build up of frustration from bucks.

Greg definitely barracks for west coast. he talks about it all the time and last year he said he felt sorry for us because we didnt have Nic Nat. Well greg im pretty happy with Watts this season. I still tune in occasionally. I thought he'd let up on us. Its funny when you hear him bag out other teams. The way he attacked essendon on this drugs stuff was great. It got all the essendon fans off there seats.

Match Preview and Team Selection - Round 14
dees189227 replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I remember sitting on level 1 where I hate sitting because there was no leg room and up on level 3 at least you can move, my 15 month old niece was restless so I think I was entertaining her most of the time which was a good thing, less time I had to watch the rubbish. It was just the worst game ever and I sat there not caring. That was the game swallow did his Achilles. It was a poor crowd and its funny looking at that team. On paper it didnt look bad but compared to this year it will look even better. Plus the pederson that played last year is a whole lot different to the one running out on sunday. I hope we get a good turnout and we get to make the noise this time. -
Stuart Dew was 'very close' to joining Demons under Paul Roos
dees189227 replied to DeeMfc's topic in Melbourne Demons
Im not sure about Dew. He has a young family and his wife works for the 7 network in sydney. She may not want to move. But I guess if he wants a senior job then he has to go somewhere. I still think Kirk could be ok or Ling if he gets some experience. Interesting the media talk that we shouldnt bring in an untried coach but if Roosy is there as a mentor then he should be ok. This is why I want Roos to sign for the 3rd year so we dont rush this. -
Yep and I think the same with Vince as well.
-
yeah wernt they going to link up a bridge to the stadiums in richmond? I would have thought they could have named it there.
-
I know ch7 news are going to feature it but here are some pics off twitter about todays opening of the bridge named in honour of the great man. are you sure? how do you know this? got a link? Caro is saying its a beatup
-
ok will we get cleared? im a little surprised to read other clubs names on that list. I mean geelong and hawthorn. Neil Craig now works at essendon he may throw us under the bus. Anyway its got all essendon fans excited. Somehow I doubt other clubs have done anything like essendon has.
-
I have only ever had trouble with richmond supporters. Except when we beat them a few weeks ago that day was ok they were pretty quiet, had no issues then. But before that they were horrible. Even the nab cup game this year. Whats worse is when they abuse a player but get the name wrong. I guess all clubs have supporters that can be feral. My manager went to a melbourne game this year and told me she had a melbourne fan in front of her with 2 kids who was using the f word and being disrespectful. Essendon fans amuse me at the moment because they blame the media and journos for reporting what went on. No they are doing there job. Its your club that went down this path.

http://www.afl.com.au/video/2014-06-15/dons-miss-dees-bliss this one is better. Its all of essendon behinds they kicked in the last quarter. How did Bellchambers miss that one. But then they show our goals including kents and the goal by watts and salem.
-
Do we make any changes? We had no injuries and I'm not sure who you would drop. Keep the same 22.
-
Tom McDonald @TomMcDonald92 51m Thanks to all the Dee faithful who come every week! The support does not go unnoticed and you guys are LOUD! cameron pedersen @CamPedda87 · 1h Great win by the boys, privilege to run out with these boys, @DeeArmy best on like every week
-
daniel cross definitely needs to be given an extra year. He has been fantastic this season,.
-
I just watched the highlights on the afl website. Kents goal was fantastic and salem not only did he kick the winning score but he did that brilliant smother to set watts up. What a legend.
-
I know its another twilight game but its our home game at our ground. For ages we had to play the roos on there turf and now its time we beat them on our ground. For ages the roos have had it over us and they just go into these games knowing they will win. We need to build on todays fantastic win and it would be great if a good crowd of red and blue turn out.
