  1. Can we blame Mark Neeld for this. He got us Jesse, got us all excited about the nest big superstar forward. Look at least next year we won't have to put up with will he or won't he re-sign. He would have gone home, so at least we got the deal done now. Also after Melbourne games no longer will we have to read about his bad body language and him sooking on this site. But I wish Jesse all the best. He has been through more at the age of 23 then most of us have in a lifetime. He has lost his Dad and had a cancer scare and had injuries on the way. But good look under Ross Lyon. He has gone from being under a calm coach to Ross who seems to be demanding, gets angry and expects a lot from his players.
  2. I can see why he wanted to go. More opportunities is what he wanted. All the best to him and I hope he can stay injury free. Will always remember his wonderful goal against west coast to seal the win.
  3. Im happy with this. It gives Max more of a break and this guy is massive so he can go forward to. It means hopefully weiderman and Tom know longer have to do ruckwork and can stay down forward.
  4. Well I just hope that this doesn't backfire on us and we end up losing Jesse and don't land May. By the way we have Oscar, Hibbard, Frost and will get Lever back so where will May fit? I can see why they would want an answer from Hogan because next year it will all be about him and will he won't he re-sign with melbourne but I really don't want him to go because I just fear if something happens to Tom then we have to rely on weiderman. Yes he had a good back half but could he step up and take the lead. In saying that I did think at some stage Jesse would go home. I think now we could cope with his loss where as a few years ago it would have felt like the world may have ended.
  5. Look yesterday we needed the Lewis who played really well against geelong and hawthorn, but yesterday we got the undisciplined Jordan. The one who gave away a dumb free kick in the 1st quarter resulting in a goal, gave away 50's butchered the ball, yes I know he wasn't the only one but he is meant to know better. I suspect he may go on for another year though, or maybe he thinks he has had enough.
  6. I loved seeing the former players there. Jeff White posted a opicture with his son at the game, the wizz was there, im sure many others were there to. Goody was just on SEN. He is flying to perth because he said he has done so over the years just to see different finals matches. I wonder if he is thinking I better go and have a look in case we win next week.
  7. I agree on that part, he did some stupid handpasses to teammates under pressure but his tackling was brutal and outstanding last night
  8. Goodwin is about to be interviewed on SEN'S crunch time show. Should be in about the next 5 or 10 minutes I reckon
  9. That Hannan goal I had to watch it off the big screen because everyone around me stood up willing him to kick it. It was just great last night. Just watching the highlights now.
  10. Love this image, the 2 captains walking off together. The only downside I had last night was I taped the storm final got home to watch it and it failed to record and I also taped our game and it jumps because of reception. But thats ok. I have the memories from last night.
  11. Good morning! How great does it feel this morning? Bloody brilliant
  12. I loved the scenes of Viney and Jones walking off arms around each other with massive smiles. Gee how good was Viney to. Awesome tackling game.
  13. Wow what a game and atmosphere. The members was rocking tonight. It was nice to sit around all Melbourne supporters. I hared Jones say it felt like an interstate crowd except they were all cheering for us. Juts loved the 1st quarter. It was great. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would kick the 1st 5 and hold them goalless. Loved Weidermans game. Brilliant marking and a handy 3 goals. Jetta was fantastic. He gets knocked, pulled, pushed but still gets up and gives everything. Jones, so happy for him that he kicked the 1st goal of that final term. Loved harmse's game. Enjoyed Frost down back as well, even Oscar took some nice marks. Just happy happy happy. Max Gawn is just the best. We are so lucky to have him.
  14. He took some great marks today including a nice pack mark in front of the members.
  15. Or maybe a yellow ribbon on the jumpers or something. But yeah a yellow armband is a good idea. It would stand out more than a black armband and not that it needs any more awareness but it would make people aware of challenge charity which he supported. Maybe we could do a 1 minute applause for him to before the game.
  16. Just so sad. I don't even like golf but he just seemed like a really nice person and he is only 36. Far to young. Feel so sad for his family but his wife and his 2 daughters who are so young. another good person taken way to early. It's a shame he didn't get to see this footy club at its best. Paul Roos mentioned on mmm last sunday that a couple of years ago Jarrod contacted the club and wanted to come down and just have a word to them. They could use his inspiration and courage for the next few weeks. Id assume we would wear black armbands in tribute for him this weekend.
  17. Look he is going to cop his just desserts. People are pretty fired up about this today and rightly so. But I think there is only a set of people who can really comment and that is his family. Reading this article I couldn't imagine what his family had thought sitting there and seeing this happen to there son. Obviously Angus was a bit rattled to. https://www.news.com.au/sport/sports-life/his-mum-was-in-tears-emotional-scars-for-brayshaw-family-as-bad-as-physical-damage/news-story/326fefd325fd091dafe746d9850d0d0c
  18. So brayshaw has a broken jaw 3 teeth that needed fixing and cannot eat solid foods for 4 weeks and his season is over. Gaff has to at least get more than bugg
  19. Id feel a lot more confident playing freo without fyfe or sandilands at the G than Darwin. I don't mond keeping the alice springs game but happy to ditch darwin even though it's a nice escape in our winter.

I wonder if Roosy was asked an opinion about this as they are former teammates and good friends still. Anyway did not see this coming but good on melbourne because even the main footy reporters obviously didn't get the scoop. Maybe things arent leaking out anymore. When they talked about it on classified the other week Perts name wasn't mentioned. He has big shoes to fill.
  21. The lamb rack looked great and id eat that salmon soba noodle salad. Funny how we didn't see the coach. Anyway it wasn't a bad episode.
  22. Gee people chill, it's just a challenge on a cooking show. Its a challenge at the mcg. So of course they would get us. I bet if they got the pies people would be on here saying why didn't they get us. It's our ground. Im a tad surprised they didn't get Richmond, but as it was filmed last yr they were busy with finals. Anyway just enjoy it.
  23. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-05-04/dons-abandoned-me-in-time-of-need-says-hird Cry me a river. Seriously when will this man admit the part he had in this, he was in charge of this club and went along with this idea. My god and you threw people under the bus. also now footy people are coming out saying we suspected about Bomber or knew he had some issues, well you know what he needed help back then and an intervention. He has dug himself to deep this time. If this was Joe blogs off the street im pretty sure he wouldn't get much sympathy. It could be an interesting few months.
  24. On mmm they just said james hird has been supporting bomber. Well he will be fine then.
