Well it looks like they will be one down with McVeigh out with a quad, now just need Buddy and Heeney to go down and we could be a chance. For anyone playing for Casey tomorrow in the backline, play well and you will be playing seniors.

I used to dread melbourne collingwood games because I couldn't sit there and watch us lose. Now it's the essendon games I don't look forward to. Thankfully we get the game out of the way early and only have to play them once. It's actually been awhile since I've been to a melbourne essendon game. But gee we better win and win well tomorrow night. For 2 reasons, 1-we get a win on the board and our season back on track. But most importantly the 2nd reason is to have essendon lose again and keep the essenscum fans miserable. We have to get off to a great start, make the most of our opportunities and Id love to see Jonsey bounce back and Gawn to dominate.
As Max said on the front bar last night Jim was well ahead of his time when he started REACH. Jim did so much good work and I can't help but feel Jim's best work would be so valuable today with online bullying, trolls, social media and bullying in general. But after the 1st 2 weeks and our performances you are tempted to jump on twitter and tell the players what you think. But i didn't. Anyway someone might be sitting in the crowd and realise one of there tweets has come up on the banner. But also last year we had a REACH day where you could donate to them, so are they doing that again? I wish the media would add this in though and explain what they are doing. I just saw them talking about it on sunrise and said melbourne are putting there tweets on the banner to call out trolls. We are doing it to involve an organisation that works with young people. If you go to there facebook page it makes more sense there.
I just go back to walking out of the G after we beat Hawthorn to book a prelim all happy along with tousands of other melbourne fans. If someone had said to me then you would start next season 0-2 including losing to port r1 and you would be on the bottom of the ladder, I wouldn't have believed it. But I guess the only way is up. Which would be great to start this friday night.
Is it to late to get PJ back in and get rid of Pert? PJ seems to turn things into gold. He'd be asking himself what has happened. Seriously though after you walked out of the MCG last September with those great wins against geelong and hawthorn, if someone said to you then geelong will beat you by 80 points in r2 you wouldn't have believed it. I seriously thought those days were over. Admittedly id didn't see any of the game until the last quarter, but coming home and listening to it on the radio after 1/2 time and hearing how we dominated the inside 50's but kicked squat was frustrating. We had 23 inside more 50's. How does that happen? That we lose by so much? Next week is going to be the most nerve racking week. WE CANNOT LOSE TO THE SCUM.
In the review on monday in front of the team show the moment in that final term where he didn't go hard enough for the ball. Or give him one more chance play him out of the square next week. We all know he can mark the ball really well. Maybe point out to him DeGoey has flown past him and I really do not care you are mates with Ben Simmons.
