These are the games melbourne typically drop. I think there are a few media people waiting to see how we go today. We must back up last weeks great win with the same performance today. We need to show that same intensity. I will be shattered if we drop today. Last week would have felt like nothing then. We owe nth. Far to long they have had the wood over us. We need to get up the ladder and get a 2 game break from the lower teams.
-
Gee tomorrow is a must win for us. We need to keep the 2 game break from the teams behind us and if we win we can go past richmond, dogs and saints. I expect freo to beat Carlton. Gee I will be mad if we drop this game.
-
Gee the crows have found some form and boosted there percentage nicely. I know they are only playing brisbane. Hawks stopped after 1/2 time. 1 goal to 8. Tom Mitchell 48 possies. It was 11 shots at goal to 2. They just couldnt go on with there great start.
-
Gee wish I could wind back to 1/4 time. The pies fans were filthy, Ed was blowing up and Bucks wouldnt have felt so great. But now the hawks look slower, fumbly and can't find free space. Dam it would have been a great day if the pies had lost as well after richmonds effort today.
-
2 weeks in a row they have now had there game stolen from them. You would have thought they would have learned how get numbers back and learn from last week. Happy flight home boys.
-
Turn it onto 7 footy now and see 2 shattered richmond fans in the form of Richo and Mick Molloy.
-
oh my god it was over turned. now cameron goals. Blow the siren.
-
looks like the tigs are safe. At least they got a fright
-
what was the tigs biggest lead? Hardwick will go nuts if they lose this.
-
1 goal in it. still a bit of time left. Only the tigs would stuff this up.
-
need gws to win so tigs fans see another loss and fall out of the 8. Tomorrow is a must win for us.

Gee geelong why couldn't you have bought that heat last saturday night and beaten the bummers instead? I have heard today from a radio snippet Bucks telling his pies players to use Lou as inspiration and realise to make the most of your footy career. Um Bucks the man was 94. Yes it was sad and it's nice how they are going to honour him tonight but using him to give perspective on your career. Please. It's not the same as we lost a Troy Broadbridge or Port losing McCartney. Pressure on bucks tonight. If they lose to the hawks with all of there injuries Bucks will cop the heat a lot more.

How dumb is Cloke. Abuses the umpire and gives Selwood a free shot at goal. It kick starts there quarter. What has annoyed me about holding the ball this year is when a player gets a fist on it the ump calls holding the ball but when a player is tackled and doesnt get a boot on it they let it go. Then Murph gets a dodgy free kick against him when he did get a boot to it. See selwood still gets his high free kicks.
-
gee switch off for the 3rd quarter and the dogs are back in front. Wow. Hope for a good final term
-
What a great 1st quarter. Tackling was brilliant, dnagers 2 goals were good. The dogs just have a way to get out of bad situations. If the Bont could kick straight it would make him the complete player. But really enjoying it. also the ground looks better two with all the new work done to it. Changed a bit when I was last there at that disastrous game.

Beamer opens up about Neeld relationship.
dees189227 replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Gee it feels so long ago we had him at our club. Now I look at our current crop of mids and think we are so lucky now. Compare that to our mids we had during the baily/neeld era -
HA Ha I knew at some stage richmond would start to lose games. They get there supporters up and going and they start to talk top 4, finals and maybe a flag. Just watched the last 2 minutes off the AFL website. 2 goals were scored with 38 seconds to go on the clock. I reckon Dimma would be disappointed that Lachie Neale got away so easily with that last clearance. But it was good to watch. Gold Coast were never going to win. They had a negative attitude about this trip. From there coach who was complaining about travel and pollution, Port embraced it and got involved learning the local culture.

Garry will say fantastic win but see next week when Melbourne will probably be favourites and see if we can back it up. That has been said about melbourne. When we arent favourites the pressure is off and we see this football that we saw last night, but when its our turn as favourites we dont back it up. Last night was great but next week will be a massive let down if we dont bring next week what we did last night. Just saw this from the NT news on twitter. More WHY IS EVERYONE SURPRISED MELBOURNE IS BETTER THAN ADELAIDE? HAVEN'T WE KNOWN THAT FOR DECADES? #AFLCrowsDees

Im happy because we won, but essendon winning did ruin the night a bit. Typical Daniher kicks 5 and will get the accolades again. Wait until next week. And then I see hawkins miss easy shots. No he couldnt do that against us could he. I was hoping the cats could run over the top of them. By the way what crowd do u think they will get at Etihad between Nth and swans today at 4:40? I reckon the nth fans could be outnumbered today.

Wow I just cant believe what I saw. What a great win. So mnay highlights. Our backline was brilliant. Frost coming in makes a difference, Jetta just shut out betts and Walker was held really well. Vince on Sloane was awesome. He held him to just 11 possessions. Bern should be given that role more often. Oliver wow that goal is goal of the year material. He is just brilliant. Our 2 cpatains stood up tonight and played brilliantly. Jonsey kicked 2 important goals when it was most needed. Trac give him more midfield time. He was great bringing it out. Pedersen- Fantastic, held his own and kicked 3 goals. I wonder if we picked him earlier in the season instead of weiderman things may have been different. But he is doing a great job. Tommy Mac, what a great coaching move putting him forward. I suppose him playing on the good forwards he would learn what they do. But he kicked 2 goals. Even Bugg contributed. He took a great mark and kicked 2 important goals. Hibbard what a recruit. Awesome just awesome. Anyway so happy but next week we just have to back it up. This team is so bloody frustrating to support sometimes. Tonight and for the rest of the week we are happy, next 3 weeks we have Nth, GC and Collingwood. Time to make a stand. Its also amazing how good you look when you actually kick the ball and not handpass. Our long kicks were great tonight.

No late changes I/C Bench Dom Tyson, Mitch Hannan, Tomas Bugg, Josh Wagner Tonight will be interesting and against a top side like the crows it will tell us where we are at.

For anyone who doesn't know about this, every sunday morning Peter Donegan interviews an athlete for an hour and goes through there career with them, talking about there highs/lows and family and anything else. They replay it at night as well. It is very interesting some of the athletes that have been interviewed. Tomorrow morning is Jeff White. Should be interesting especially as he reflects back on that injury where he copped a wild Steven King boot to the face. He had 5 metal plates & 15 screws to reconstruct his face. Which looking on it now and reading that that was a very very serious injury. Of course followed up by Bombers stupid comments where he said King was lucky not to break his leg. Anyway if anyone wants a lesson tune in.

I heard Bernie Vince on ch9 sport last night say hawthorn came out to play at the start and we didnt. I hate when players say that. If you arent ready to go in the first 30 minutes then when are you. You cannot just decide to come to play after 1/2 time.
