  1. Maybe Jack Viney's ridiculous hardness is starting to rub off on the group! This is why he is destined to be our next skipper!
  2. Jack Watts took a dump earlier his evening, and the tiniest fraction of it made it's way to a gutter, where it fermented for a while, and then it turned into Roger Merret
  3. I know ONE so he's gonna cop the entire brunt
  4. hmmm that's only about 80K from the supporter group - his next contract will be about 8M but it's a start
  5. It would be good if the threadmaker could delete posts eh
  6. Hahaha I love that too, he's like 'nahhh buddy get back there'
  7. 1. He racks up goals without even seeming to need to do anything special to get them, which suggests he will have a long career of racking up plenty 2. He pretty much never loses a 1-on-1, just brings it to ground at worst 3. He missed a year with injury then just waltzed in and started performing like it ain't no thang The remainder of this post has been contributed to by Demonland's finest 4. Hes the only key forward to rag doll Alex Rance this year 5. Hes got mongrel and is built like a brick [censored] house 6. He has the arrogance that all the greats of the game possess 7. The way he swoops his fringe to the side. 8. When he points to the spot he marked the ball and makes the man on the mark walk back to it. 9. He plays for Melbourne Demons. 10. That we don't have to wait for him to bulk up 11. He is stubborn in his approach to goal 12. The ball only has to be kicked NEAR him for him to make an impact 13. Slick hair, not your skinhead "I'll punch you if you look at me" thug, thus broadening his appeal 14. Hasn't gone goalless yet 15. Works well with Garlett 16. Not afraid to bark at others, has a sense of authority and maturity. 17. Shows no sign of back pain 18. One of few players to deservedly wear number 1 19. Wears a baggy jumper 20. ACTUALLY LIVES UP TO EXPECTATIONS 21. Deceptively athletic 22. Hasn't gone back to Casey yet. 23. Hasn't gone back to Perth yet. 24. I like that after seven years of watching Melbourne teams being bullied here is a bloke who won't take a backward step in a red and blue jumper. He combines this with a once in a generation talent 25. Contested marking 26. Brilliant decision maker 27. Fantastic handballer, which goes unnoticed 28. Has shown he can slot goals on both his left and right feet on the run with rare class for a power forward Pace 29. Will get nastier 30. He's a winner. 31. I love the way he has little wrestles with his opponents. 32. He ain't nobodies [censored]. 33. He'll become the league's no. 1 forward. 34. His strut
  8. Oh we got Sunday at Etihad eh? Somebody needs to check that big dice they roll to decide these things cos goshdarnit we always seem to get unlucky
  9. sorry mate, did the old 'reply straight away without being arsed reading all the previous replies'
  10. Laker Bros and reverse Laker Bros:
  11. That's what I've always said, there's 4 major attributes/qualities of a good player: 1. Skills 2. Athleticism 3. Brains and 4. Guts/Hardness/Toughness/Balls whatever you want to call it. Number 4 is the one he has lacked up until this point but he's making inroads
  12. the ole chatroulette flogging troll-counter-troll
  13. BUT OUR MIDFIELD WILL DEFINITELY IMPROVE FURTHER
  14. I think it's supposed to be a dude 'trolling' on chatroulette.. pretending he is doing the old 5-knuckle-shuffle, only to reveal that he was in fact polishing a shoe.. but als, the other dudes had a similar troll going which involved revealing they were washing dishes
  15. I wasn't aware of there being multiple entities of any of those players. Why don't you just say 'players such as...' and then name them. Unless Bretreton had a brother or two I'm not aware of and wtf are you talking about anyway, is this comment supposed to be some sort of discussion? small handful of posters are starting to wreck this site with absolute drivel in every thread
  16. Which is related to how he seems to be of the highest quality character as a person. These types are valuable to footy clubs.
  17. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2015-08-04/vince-lauded-for-allaustralianlike-form
  18. The difference between Watts compared to Viney/Brayshaw is the type of player they are - if you are a midfielder you can ply your trade more easily straight off the bat without your lack of physical d'ment and experience being shown up as much. This is what makes Hogan's start so incredible, there is almost no sign at all that he is a 1st/2nd year player and he's a genuine KPF.
  19. Just started watching the game vs the cats again, in the first 10 seconds Viney chases Selwood to a congested sitution and just bowls him over so he can't get the pill, then you see him just grab selwood's foot while he is on the ground and kinda pull it, purely to annoy him, then Viney somehow gets the ball and dishes it to Jones for an inside 50. Absolutely set the tone of the matchup and the game itself in the first passage of play!
  20. That's exactly why it happens after a goal is kicked, it is is the only time you are gauranteed to be able to swap a player on/off without risking an enemy player being left unguarded and potentially costing you a goal so everyone knowing that the goalikicker is coming straight off just makes a touch easier to do all the flurry of changes its stupid but its one of many stupid developments in the modern game
