God, how nice would it be to follow a decent team. wonder what it feels like?

I am so peed off at this club it’s not funny. why the hell cant we score all of a sudden? why do we leak so many goals to the opponent every game? why can’t we play out a whole game?

Gee who would have thought that after round 5 we would be calling for the coaches head with the team performing so badly? Same old Melbourne huh? Super dissapointing is an understatement. Stills seems we are cursed and destined to live out our football supporting lives in misery

We are well balanced going into this game with an extra tall forward in Weed, and more run with Hunt, Stretch and Tyson. Providing we can keep our intensity up for four full quarters, and I mean four quarters ,because that’s one of Richmond’s strengths with that constant pressure and effort, then we have a good chance to win this.

We can’t be trusted because we are notorious for not being able deal with expectations . As yet we have achieved zilch. Unfortunately the only reputation we are building is that we are mentally soft.

I know exactly what we need to fix us up. Run out of the back line and pace on the outside. Bring in Hunt , Stretch, Hannan and Oskar Baker. Bite the bullet and drop Vince and Lewis, rest Jetta and drop either Harmes or Melksham. It won’t happen, but boy would that liven us up. We’ve got the same inside grunt, but we’ve looked slow and predictable.

Just being devils advocate here but Maybe they have their noses out of joint with Lever being on such big coin and upsetting the balance we had last year. Not only is he getting paid more but he is forcing them out of their natural positions like Hibberd who used to float across half back but now has to play one on one.

With both Viney and Tyson out, we really missed Jonesys ball getting ability in the Middle by using him as a tagger.

Out backline has completely changed this year. The run we had with Hunt and Hibberd has disappeared . Is it form,dumb coaching or an actual unbalancing in trying to accommodate Lever?

Teams like Richmond can make a commitment at the start of the year to be mentally stronger and give 100% of tough strong Footy for four quarters. So did Bulldogs the previous year. So why can’t we? Talent alone never does it. We are soft and mentally weak.

They tackled better, and moved the ball quicker. Our inability to tackle makes us poor, does it not?

That loss against Collingwood in the final round last year had nothing to do with our mental application ,Collingwood are simply better than us, so are Geelong, even with out Danger, and Hawthorn. We have done nothing to prove we are a good side, beside beat mediocre teams. Our coach is as wooden as they come, and for some reason ditched our backline coach in Rawlings, for a rookie in Chaplin.

Our backline is putrid and we desperately need that second tall in the forward line. Lever seems to have completely upset the balance we had last year.
