Instead of commenting on what a great mark Fritsch took , all they can talk about is poor Scott Thompson in his last game. -

Geez I can’t stand the commentators these days, so smug, negative and judgmental. -
Viney the meek and mild
-
We often do that. Clear first options open, but decide to change direction and get caught.
-
Wanna torture someone their whole life? Make them love football , but then force them to support Melbourne.
-
Football has become a nightmare, even the commentators are insane.
-
Playing on at all costs against the best tackling team in the league? Tactically we are pretty basic. I reckon Goodwin would be a good local footy coach, “just be strong around the footy boys!” Thats his answer to everything
-
We are watching a team that is depressed and embarrassed about themselves
-
Yep Goodwins lost these players.
-
These players checked out a month ago , can’t wait for season to end. All that effort the last two seasons to rebuild our credibility, we are now a laughing stock again.
-
We give the opposition every chance . A true bottom of the ladder side.
-
Our skills and decision making are deplorable.
-
Gawn must be captain. He is the only one that plays like one.
-
Lever is not a great one on one defender . He is a third tall intercept defender. He hasn't been allowed to play his natural game. Putting him on the big bodied Mihocek was a poor coaching, May should have been on him from the start. In Brayshaws post match interview he mentioned that players would look down the line and there was no one to kick to, so they had to kick it long which caused turnovers and opposition goals. Theres your problem right there. Either the coaches aren't coaching properly to make sure there is a shorter hit up and therefore less turnovers , or the players aren’t working hard enough. Would a Clarko let that happen? I’d think not. Coaching Coaching Coaching

Gee had we played half a game of footy in those second and third quarters we may have pinched that. Fritta was very good, along with Petracca and Oliver, JKH and OMac put up decent efforts. Shocking turnovers from Hibberd, Melksham and co. Viney, hmmmmm, what has happened to Viney? He used to be an absolute animal.
-
Pathetic football club
-
Hibberd inability to hit a Target is mind boggling. Its like ground hog day every week . Big effort in the first , then skills constantly let us down and it’s chasing backsides all day after that. Vney needs to watch someone like Trent Cotchin on how to play the game and lead his team.
-
It’s perplexing as to what happened to OMac really. He wasn’t too bad last year and seemed to be tracking ok. This year he has turned into a complete spud.
-
I’m ropeable about Hore being left out. Tanking?

I thought JKH was a damn sight better than ANB as far as actually doing something with the ball. Dunkley will be great, just needs time. Just need to find a tall Forward and a speedy winger in the off season and have a bit of luck with injuries, hopefully get Vanders on the park and a big preseason for all, with a killer instinct to start off next season.
