  1. After such a valiant effort against the pies, it's time for MFC supporters to reward the players and club with a dominating home crowd vs the crows. MFC need to pull higher crowd numbers vs interstate team. Now is the time!
  2. I'd say this Bailey artical, is in reasponse to the questions of passion in Bailey's post match interviews and the up roar from members/supporters, after the round 1 result.
  3. Say we did have another bad year, that afforded us picks 4/7. With GC17 already poaching players from the 2010 draft, who is looking to be the talent that we would aquire? Last year at this time, it was Scully and Butcher, who is it now?
  4. It worked for Parramatta, in the NRL. Hay, they almost won the lot. B)
  5. When did PJ become such a bad player? PJ's 2008 form was very good, looked to be coming on as a player. showed in more than couple of matchs, that he was capible of dominating play. From what i remeber, at the end of 2008 season, he went in for surgury. What went wroung? he has never returned to the PJ of 2008, why? was it the injury sustained in 2008? will he ever be back to 2008 form?
  6. Colin Sylvia..
  7. IMO that would look to be a great AFL story, in the making. "Viney & Son brings cup home", sounds great. Their has to be a first for eveything.
  8. Agree, success just seems to be following him.
  9. - stop Dane Swan (in the carpark before the game, with a cricket bat and a sack of door nobs) - Expose Didak and Shaw (then send the photo to new idea) - Take advantage of there Tall forwards (then send the photo's to new idea) - Limit the damage of there backs (with heeps of goals!) - Expose a lack of speed/endurance (with alot of speed/ice) - Target there youth (by teasing them, with joke's about there club)
  10. I was in the same position on saturday, it was my son's first attendence at an AFL match. It's bloody hard getting the kids to support the Dee's, when there F****n [censored]!!!!!!!!
  11. That was very embarrasing...
  12. thought it to be a fair call on frawley, i'd also add that, i thought he got smashed by Campbell Brown today.
  13. He said "that was my first win in round 1, since 2005". Not that bad, don't know if he said anything else. Sometimes it's just the way things are said...

  15. There's only one thing that can fix this problem? A sicky...
  16. mate, your not going due to ten bucks? whats that now days = to two pies
  17. think i did, it was a great victory that one.
  18. I'd rather dream about victory at the moment, than count how many stars they still have in there side(after injury-reports).
  19. Agree, MFC supporters need to turn up reguardless. There are alot more MFC supporters, than we are lead to believe. Queens birthday/MFC march day match last year(2009), there was definately more red & blue in that crowd than black and whatever.

    Warnock

Jamar is going to smash him this year.
  21. Brock Mclean is a good player, and it is going to hurt watching him play well for Carlton. But he had to go, for MFC to set a new enviroment for the youth.
  22. Score: Melb 15.7.97 Hawks 12.10.82 MFC leading goal kickers: Petterd 6, Green 3 MFC leading Ball Getters: Grimes 32, Davey 30 Scully v Trengove: Scully 19-0 Trengove 24-2 Crowd 55,642
  23. Is Paul Johnson finished? seems to getting over looked quite abit. I didn't mind some of his games in 2008. Is there any chance he can fill this hole?
  24. I'd classify Jack Grimes as a defender and in the short career he's had, he's shown loads of star potental..
