  1. Hrmmm.... Jack Viney?Haha.. Nah not yet. I will say Jurrah if Watts Howe and Cook allow him to play his natural game by them taking the bigger and better backman. Want him to play a Stevie J role eventually.
  2. Agreed until there is evidence that he has changed his mind or is going to sign. All it does is anger supporters and we are running the risk of people booing and treating him with distain. The reason it continues to be an issue is because of topics like these. If you read any article regarding Tom Scully it always starts with "worried" or "angry" supporters, don't think jurnos don't read this because if they didn't they wouldn't be doing there job properly.. If your over 15 I recommend to just stay away and be patient. It is up to both the club and player. Not much us supporters can do but support both Tom and the club. Geelongs supporters did everything they could to try and keep Garry Ablett that did absolutely nothing I don't see a Colin Sylvia Thread regarding the same matter and atm he is by far a better player then young Tom. At least Tom has said he wishes to organize his contract at years end. Has Colin?
  3. Of coarse it's BS. Says a statement then is nowhere to be seen when questions start getting asked.... Just trying to stir the pot. No confirmation on any media websites.
  4. Jack Viney Kicks: 11 Handballs: 12 Dispoals: 23 Marks: 1 Tackles: 3 Frees For:1 Frees Against: 2 Goals: 1 Behinds: 0 Efficiency: 69%
  5. Elbowed Crowley. Should get off. Low contact
  6. Love to know how he goes if anyone in Perth can get there.
  7. Get a grip. 26 pages of dribble just take a deep breath, have some faith In Tom and for the club you apparently SUPPORT.
  8. He averages 0.9 tackles less then Nathan Jones who is an inside midfielder. Give him a break he's there to kick goals and by what RudeBoy said he's the fastest to 50 goals in the last 10 years which is more impressive considering we have been such a poor scoring team since Liam has been on our list
  9. Haha.... I will SPELL it out for everyone if you can't read between the lines..... It's not looking good if we continually question what he has stated!!! He will sign a contract and the end of the year. No earlier no later. Thats enough from me. I also just wanted to see if people like hearing the constant dribble.
  10. Even if it's harming the situation...? For the betterment of the club they should be. Especially if he hasn't stated any different to his only press confrence.. He's not going to say any different. Think about it if you were trying to get a pay rise and knew you were in high demand..?
  11. In repect to him and his family I think he's correct. What will continual threads do but harm the situation? We are making his managers job very easy atm with all the fear mongering. He has stated what he intends to do. At SEASONS end he will sign a contract!! Someone should put it on YouTube and replay it everytime they want they want that answer. He's not signing till the end of the year get over it and stop giving him reasons to leave... $&@! me
  12. Surely people are sick of hearing about Tom Scully and his contract. I can tell you he's signed nothing him and his family are sick of what is continually written regarding his contract especially when he indicated to the press in front of the camera that he will sign at years end. He said he would love to stay a demon loved the boys ect. It's really embarrassing that it continually gets brought up. There is not much more he can say. Why should he? We cleared room in the salary cap (Cameron Bruce) for this EXACT reason. Also we have extra room in the cap as in recent years (last 2years only) have started paying the full 100% before this we were paying 92.5% All this hysteria is just helping his price grow. get a grip and have faith both in the club and the 20 year old kid thats a lot smarter then a bunch of you...
  13. I've said this a number of times. He's NOT going anywhere......... He WILL get well looked after by the MFC. I mean who else is getting the money? Only the last 2years we have paid 100% of the salary cap. Hence the reason we got rid of Bruce he was our higest paid player. So we could deal with this situation. All this talk is great for his manager and he's loving all the threads regarding Tom leaving. The more hysteria about the issue the less he has to work. He would love the dribble that's being written on here. I'll say it one more time. He enjoys the club, is a MASSIVE family man and is very tired of what supporters are saying regarding the topic. Grow up and put yourselves in his shoes. He's doing everything that I would do if I wanted a pay rise and was in high demand. He can command dollars and he will get the dollars, from the Melbourne FC that is. End of story
  14. The Melbourne FC now must stand up for the rest of the year. Especially this weekend...I have a fear that this might be a bit draining on the boys. It has been a big week and none of them would have been able to switch off from football with the news of Grimes Jamar and Trengove. What I am most upset with is the way the AFL have acted twice towards the MFC this year. Firstly the way that GWS are able to have a crack at Tom Scully without him even finishing his first contract. The AFL could have put a rule in place saying that players must be signed up for a minimum of 4 years to a club before they can be poached because that's what it is. Poaching... (They have money outside the cap to entice players) Also the way the AFL have suspended a kid for tackling for 3 weeks, to me the tackle was fair. If they wanted to make a statement they should have given him 1 week max. I'm a Melbourne supporter so I guess I'm a bit one eyed but it seems to me the AFL weren't happy with the way we played in the back end of 2009... Most importantly I want the boys to play with the attitude that the world is against them and they come out and SMASH the Roos this week and stick it up the AFL with some of back handed compliment... In the press after the game. Will be disappointing if we come out a bit flat and with no passion this weekend. Mind you I get the feeling that a lot of the boys will be going to be a going pretty hard over the next 3 weeks....C'MON BOYS stick it up them
  15. Did watts get injured just don't think he touched it in the 4th qrt. Great to hear he had a great first half
  16. NORTHERN BULLANTS vs. CASEY SCORPIONS(Reserve Grade) Sunday 8th May Preston City Oval at 11:00 AM CASEY SCORPIONS Backs McNamara McDonald Davis Half backs Lees Campbell Tynan Centreline Matthews McKenzie Johnston Half forwards Lindsay Riseley Allen Forwards McGough Purves Petropoulos Followers Gawn Collins Bell Interchange (from) Baumgartner Bolton Carew Clay Cleven J Costigan Dowse Patti Pollard Salton Waite Weekes Max Gawn in the 2s don't mind that if he is the number 1 and getting plenty of game time GREAT to see Robert Campbell and most of all Jordie McKenzie up and going again. Shattered that Blease and Strauss aren't playing. Just can't get any continuity in there game at the moment
  17. Positive is that we are one step closer to a new coach. If essendon can force the hand of their board can we do the same???? I'm over it. It's impossible to stick up for the club when they put in efforts like this time and time again. SACK BAILEY now or they are going to lose a lot of members and players like Tom Scully
  18. WOW 56 pts I want Bailey gone he needs to be the sacrificial lamb the players need a rocket and it's clear that they don't respect him so [censored] him off before we lose scully
