Writing was on the wall on Thursday night.. After we got smacked by the Hawks we drop ONE player and that was the bloke that spent 20mins on the ground. It's a joke the players have never been sent a message to say that it's unacceptable for our loses this year. Big names need to roll and we need to play blokes that wanna change the clubs trend because I'm sick of being labeled a club with no heart or spine

Great article. Martin Flanagan is a star. Liam Jurrah is my favourite player at the dees by far and I think the footy club have done a terrific job with helping him feel as comfortable as he can. I do have my fears tho. This year it just looks like he isn't playing with the same care free attitude he's had the last couple of years. This could be a number of things but to me I think the coaches and perhaps that the general public are pushing him to put more defensive pressure on (which they should). Rudeboy what are Liams football goals? Does he want to play 200 games for the dees ect? He obviously has already achieved a great feat by playing 1 game from where he's come from.

Just RELAX we will get our answer in 8 weeks... No EARLIER.. Get a grip. The more he gets pressure the more embarrassing it gets. Our future will never surround one player. He's a 20 year old kid that can't deal with a tag yet. He's no superstar just yet. If he leaves he will get tagged for the next 2 years stunting his development and hopefully the Melbourne boys will fire up like never before. People out there should know the feeling if you've played local footy before. The feelinf when rival clubs throw cash at your star players. Theirs not much you can do other then take some of the slack and improve that little bit more. If he stays, great but tbh get over it. Potentially he's a superstar but atm his best games are not as good as Trengoves best games.

Get a grip we will get an answer in 8 weeks time. Let the kid play footy and if Melbourne make the finals it's going to be hard for him to leave. One champion player doesn't make a champion team... The football club will do what it can, if they don't get his signature so be it the club is bigger then one person, it might also give the boys a bit of ammunition for next year.. If hes going, its to a club that we shouldn't have any trouble with for the next 3-5years. Hopefully when we are having a crack at the premiership we can grab one if their potential stars that's homesick.
