I think it's great that Melbourne have got Clark, very excited about the inclusion I just hope our young maybe dumb at times midfield don't kick it to him all the time. Over the last 2 years Jack Watts has been putting himself in good positions to get some easy ball but too many times wasn't used and we just used the bail out kick which was usually on Jurrah or Greens head. This could have been because our structure. At least i hope so. Not being negative at all and I hope people understand where I'm coming from, I'm just saying we can't become a one trick pony now because we have potentially one of the most potent forward lines coming through.. We have the backline and forwards now. With the amount of young mids we have on the list I'm sure we have the midfield too we just need to get the combinations right.

Haha... He will defiantly not go in the first rd. Didn't win there bnf, only averaged 2 goals a game and got in the best every 3rd game. It's a highlights reel. Just relax.

Great get MFC he will break packs open take the best defender which is what we need. I doubt he will even play ruck which allows us to play Jamar and Martin in the same game and Gawn can develop in the 2s.

Kicked 34 goals in 17 games. And got named 5 times in the best.. Obviously was playing forward early then moved into the midfield because a lot of his goals were in rounds 1-5. Only being in the best 5 times shows that he didn't exactly set the world on fire. Also think he was named in the Tasmanian state team. Don't know if he played Tassie Under 18s.

For the club to start losing it's shocking culture it needs to start from it's supporters. If you don't like the appointment nick off to GWS with the other sook. Some people are potting a guy that chose to coach us over 2 others.. Pull your heads in, only one thing will make this club great and thats unity from ALL areas..

To change the culture of this club it needs to also come from the supporters. Support the club for god sakes. If he was on the top of the list of all 3 clubs haven't we trump them all because he has chosen us...?

Good call... Mick Malthouse is not coaching next year. Rodney Eade has shown he doesn't have the defensive press down at all. Paul Roos can rot in hell for all the [censored] he's been saying about us this year, to a lesser extent so can Leigh Mathews.. Craig also shows that he doesn't have a plan B along the same lines as Bailey. I want someone with some [censored] in them. Along the lines of Chris and Brad Scott. (This i hope Neeld has) Someone that has been involved in the defensive press someone that has been under the best coach and most successful team for more than 1 or 2 years like Viney was.

Hell yes. With Pendlebury saying Neeld is one of the reasons he and Thomas have upped there game in the last 2 years (whilst he has been in charge of the midfield) is great with Pendlebury coming out of contract next year... Could help us lure a might fine captain.

When will we know what our compensation is off the afl?

Just the fact that we are saying we have been around for 153 years this is just a blip in the radar like many others we have had... Nearly smiling. Was asked if it's a good day for football. Could have said no we lost our number 1 draft pick and at best we are getting a mid range first rd draft pick and a late first rd pick. Perhaps I'm still a little bit upset and look I understand he couldn't say much more just feel like we get pushed aside to easily. I for one liked the way McLardy spoke. He said we didn't want to compromise our list for just one player.
