Did Guerra do this deal?

Behind the scenes on draft night
Does JT not literally say if Essendon take Sharp, we'll pick Taylor and Pickett? Or am I going crazy?

Behind the scenes on draft night
Great content except they missed night 2 of the national draft...

Welcome Back Cookie
I like it. Fascinating framing by the incoming President.

Welcome to Demonland: Xavier Taylor
I was in that system for 20 years, but stopped coaching end of last year, so couldn't tell you if it's changed in the past 12 months. It's a pretty loose goosey competition and as far as I'm aware all the schools do it.

Welcome to Demonland: Xavier Taylor
A lot of them call them general excellence these days as the APS stamped down on it for a while.

2025 Draft Report Card
Wasn't sure where to put this, but it seems appropriate enough here. Mods, please feel free to move if need be. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1932890/inside-the-draft-room-access Some great access. I'd prefer it was visual, but I'd suggest this is coming at some point down the track. The most interesting thing of note is this bit: "8:04pm Lamb’s phone rings, it’s a short call. A pick trade is floated by another club, which Lamb shuts down. That’s not part of the Dees’ plan tonight. The draft rolls on. " I wonder which club it was and what they offered.

Cripps-like but with pace.

Welcome to Demonland: Xavier Taylor
I completely agree. Bloody Caulfield. Same with all the APS schools.

Some great Demonland posters as well.

Bailey Humphrey
Thanks mate. Saw this after I posted. Also think I saw Mentha in a video a moment ago, jumping all over him after taking a speccy in 2024, so could be close with all of them.
-
Welcome to Demonland: Thomas Matthews
Thanks Bailey. Look forward to seeing you in the red and blue in 2027 as well.

Bailey Humphrey
When I heard he was from Gippsland and Moe, I immediately thought of Humphrey. I also thought of Xavier Lindsay and even Mentha out of Gippy recently. I wonder if the latter two are close too.

AFL Draft 2025: Pick 30 (formerly 37)
I would have loved Cooper Hynes. Maybe Harvey is mates with Sinnema...

AFL Draft 2025: Pick 30 (formerly 37)
Minus concussion, NHH would surely be a top 20 selection. He can kick them from anywhere, has good trickiness and game awareness. I wonder firstly whether he'll get to us and then secondly what JT thinks of him.

The 2025 AFL Draft Thread
So who do we rate that's left over?
-
AFL Draft 2025: Pick 30 (formerly 37)
No idea. Just know he missed games this year due to concussion. Would be a huge red flag for most I would have thought.

AFL Draft 2025: Pick 30 (formerly 37)
I assume the NHH slide is due to the history of concussion?
-
AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
I haven't listened to Gettable yet but was told Cal said Richmond and Essendon are likely not to pick Grjl and that if he gets to Melbourne's pick, he won't get any further. ie we will pick him.

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
I still want a Grlj up.

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
Or did the crocodile get it?
