Trade Targets 2025
Adam The God replied to Flag Favourites 3019's topic in Trade, Draft & Free Agency
He killed us in (was it?) 2020 in an empty Marvel stadium. -
Time to go Tim Lamb? Should we pursue Graham Wright?
Adam The God replied to Supreme_Demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
I've never had Lamb in the gun, although I will revert to those within the FD that might know better. I wouldn't mind pursuing Wright as head of footy or CEO, but sounds like he's already locked and loaded at Tassie.- 100 replies

Or just take them both late in the ND.
-
It also depends what is available and willing to move on the market...
-
Ironically, things have gone downhill since the AFL handed back the reigns...

Looks like he could eventually go through the midfield to me.

I'd love 4 or 5 picks in the top 40 this year. Guys like Jack Whitlock who may slide or his brother. Hannaford to add to Kozzy, Spargo and Chandler. Lalor or Langford to Oliver, Viney and Petracca. Hynes too.

I'd like more speed, but I don't think we're as slow as say Brisbane. Add AMW, Windsor, McVee, Chandler, Lingers to each line, I wouldn't say we're slow. Speed of ball movement is more important. Think the MFC 2018.

These were all features of Goody 2017-2018. I hope we revert to this style too, but with an emphasis maintained on forward half territory and stoppage, with forward half intercept.

How would he have gotten a video inside our rooms?

We have a bloke called Ed Langdon who is the best runner in the comp...

😳

I dunno. It kind of gives Richmond heaps of picks and Yze doesn't have to be the bad guy by retiring club champions.
-
If I'd written an in principle agreement prior to the pick being inside the top 10, I'd be closer, correct?
-
That doesn't seem like a good commercial result for the AFL.

The Jack Martin Thread
Adam The God replied to Norm Smith's Curse's topic in Trade, Draft & Free Agency
Think he needed surgery later in the year. I presume he'll be alright for pre season and why they put him in for surgery when they did. -

Criminally underrated around these parts. -
Some ridiculous arguments on this thread. As if having term limits aren't a good thing, which we wouldn't have without Peter Lawrence. The board could have accepted a number of positions without dragging it through the courts, which they eventually accepted anyway. Posters saying they don't want to hear from other candidates and therefore want a closed shop are truly staggering. This current board puts their mates in positions prior to elections when board vacancies come about and then lobby for them through official channels come election time. They've done it repeatedly. It's electioneering and is not only not best practice, it's not done by any other club in the league.

I did. 😜

Hang on, so everyone has spent the past 3 months frothing over Hawthorn and then win one final against an ordinary Bulldogs and get bounced out in a semi against Port Adelaide... Brilliant. Now we just need Geelong out next week and I'll be happy.

Trade Targets 2025
Adam The God replied to Flag Favourites 3019's topic in Trade, Draft & Free Agency
Sorry, how are we getting two former first rounders, plus keeping our pick 5?
