  1. The Curnow comparison is pretty superficial. It's more the way he moves than the way he plays. He's a dynamic half forward, so very unlike Ed Curnow.
  2. Neither would I, but if JT does, I'll trust him.
  3. I.dont understand mate. You want a centre square midfielder but you'd pick a tall like Tauru or Armstrong? Hotton reminds me of Ed Curnow, a lot. Probably more talented though. Ed did play a lot of games though and get the best out of himself.
  4. This is what I'm starting to believe. I think we'll simply snap Hynes up at 9.
  5. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced our strategy is Langford (or Jagga if Langford is gone) and Hynes. Getting another pick inside 10, means we can pretty much guarantee we'll get Hynes, but if another guy slides that we love, we'll go him first.
  6. And they were room mates!
  7. Watching these clips again make me want Langford and Hynes. The latter is on the end of a lot of Langford's bullets. If Langford had pace he'd IMO be so far ahead of any of the others as a number pick 1. I think his lack of pace is overstated though. He's got that burst of acceleration when he hits the contest. He's got great hands, a beautiful kick, a great overhead mark and he kicks goals. He's very likely to be an A+ AFL player IMO.
  8. Me too mate.
  9. Jeepers DS. You're a duffer sometimes. IMHO.
  10. Jagga Smith at 5. Would be happy with Langford next if Jagga is gone. Smilie or Allan if they're there or Hynes at 9.
  11. Has Clarry ever been in the leadership group?
  12. Super impressive. Cripps like. Would be a nice complement to Jagga Smith. ;)
  13. I reckon he'll be a St Kilda or Melbourne player.
  14. Max, Viney and Lever are pretty bloody good leaders I would have thought. And if there was a void under the 5 year skipper, there is a void under the skipper. Apparently we have leaders in the Gen Z. It's funny, I mustn't have been watching carefully, didn't hear this.
  15. Taking inspiration from the semi finalists. Interesting. 😉
  16. Sure, but why use Ticketmaster at all?
  17. So received an email today from the club saying if I wanted a card or scarf I had to opt in. I guess that's okay. I click the button to opt in and it takes me to Ticketmaster. Terrible set up, but okay. I then follow the questions and answer them, thinking it's all sorted, and then it takes me back to the same questions again. Over and over again. Anyone had this problem? I feel like this club can't even get the very basics right off the field at the moment. Make it easy for your members FFS. I now have no idea whether it's logged my answers.
  18. I've got confidence in Chaplin. Very excited by what he can provide the forwardline in 2025.
  19. Salem was pick 9 too wasn't he?
  20. Billings was a x2 u18 AA player, highly rated, pick 3. I guess the point I'm making is that 60% kicking efficiency and 1.8 tackles at AFL level could well be Lindsay's ceiling too. It appears to me that the contest is not natural to Lindsay's game. Anyway, agree to disagree.
  21. Lindsay = Billings And we've already got a Billings.
  22. It completely depends if they have a player they're after in the top 10...
  23. If we split our pick 9 for 15 and 16, it gets us two late first rounders... That's why we'd do it. Say, Hotton and Hynes.
  24. No way we'll go with Trainor. Bookmark it. We just had a Gus experience with concussions.
  25. Jagga 🙌🙏✊️
