There's a bit of an elephant in the room here. Maybe we don't want picks at all, certainly not 7 and 8 that will become 11 and 12, because JT says the talent is too thin. Sure, we could try and package 7 and 8 to get up higher, but if Essendon can't get up higher with picks 4 and 5, what hope have we got?

Problem is, Binners, 7 and 8 very likely become 11 and 12 after academy and F/Ss, so two mid first round picks for him essentially. And we may well therefore give up other picks to allow them to match academy picks.

Given GWS have traded pick 14 and another for pick 12, will this be used in a Clarry trade?
