Oh yeah. Don't misunderstand me , I want him to settle as well and I think centreling is his area... but I'm imagining of a lineup, IF 'Maxy' or 'Breuse' play deep forward with Weide. Then what options do we have alongside them. To me the talls to shelter Weide, to aid him marking... but who leads to open up the deep forward area. I think Hunt has the skill-sets, speed and agility, for that setup... similar to DeGoey in this regard. Aside from that setup, I have Hunt playing regualr centreline.

Its not uncommon to see the power clubs mid ladder up to 6 weeks into the new season... before they start to hit their form. When playing into late September, we ought to structure our training time-frames to suit being as fresh as we can be, for the finals series.

The concept of status is wrong, IMV. I think it status that destroyed him in mind ? Status is a false hood as we are all born and die equal. Status is a pecking order made up by those who wish to feel high and mighty. IMO the true goal should be to play for the love and respect of your teammates... club supporters... and wider society. That is not status... because its about Real-Love and Appreciation. see Robbie Flower... he did not play for status, but played to give his all. He served us, in a way, similar as jesus, was said to serve his people. Not for some pecking order. Chickens want a pecking order... that is a sort of abuse and an aggression based concept... more like in a dictatorial model. see trump. see putin... status orientation. those US people are getting what they asked for. .

I thinking that recruitment of too young a football player onto our main list, to play footy, has hairs on it. rookie spot at 17, OK... or 16Yr old cadet, yes... but not onto the main list. I think they can't handle the fame, the required maturity, and the pressure of expectation. I think it spoils their thinking.

We at Melbourne are not so good in turning our young elite recruits into top flight players. . see 'Trapper', and many many others since him. IMO we accord them way too high a profile, in social forums... allowing them to drink their own cool-aid when out in social gatherings, amongst their peer social groups. YET, of our other not so shiny talents... most do very well in their efforts to grow as players, and as people. > see Jonesy. This club has a habit of drowning its teenage elite recruits, 'in-self'.

My comment is about looking to the future development of Austin. I don't think we will play the 2 senior rucks in every AFL match. Austin, I think, will be a 3 Year at least, development. I see him sharing duties in some VFL games with Preussy.

Also, I think If/When at Casey, he will rotate spots with Austin.

I agree SWYL. I sense something is missing, lacking in his spirit ??? The ciggy's are another clue. ??? imo . It could be, another who hates the big city life... and just wants to be around a camp fire with mates, and a few beers, laughs and good times.
