The Writing Was/Is on the Wall
What is fully fit for Tracca ? I don't think we have ever seen him fully fit. Another I question the dedication and commitment to the game, and their betterment. If the club is keeping him 'heavy', hoping he will bust open tackles often, I think its hurting our side on the spread and defending... particularly with more space opening up.

Speed algorhythm - Uncontested Possession
I think we might see another small come in this week. We're a bit too lumbering in our midsized forwards, for the 6.6.6. Especially when we are a tad under prepared, entering the season.

Speed algorhythm - Uncontested Possession
Beware the Hawks 2019_ with 6.6.6. Tiges Blues should improve Doggies gamestyle Bummers

Speed algorhythm - Uncontested Possession
Can't play them both in the back-half. I would play Hunt from the wing... not in defence, but he can push back, to bring the ball thru. Frost could play R/R. 2nd Ruck, at a pinch, if we had an injured Gawn. His speed and size around the packs would at least be interesting. Even if he just hand-balled the thing out of the pack. Also, I would not mind if the club took a leaf out of Ports books, and played one of our half-forwards, who needs to work harder off the back-flank, some times. He needs to become more accountable, and a stronger work-ethic.

The Writing Was/Is on the Wall
I suspect that some had surgeries that could have waited... It was surprised for instance, that they scheduled both Oli's shoulders at the one time, 2018 preseason. The number of scheduled end of 2018 season surgeries, made me think at end of 2018, that we were readying ourselves for the next 3 Years. So I'm suggesting, that too many supporters are only looking at 2019 season, in isolation, instead of a window of 3+ Years. In this mindset, impatience and despair can become problems for the club/team... negativeness/fear of loss, is an infectious disease, that only devours our confidence.

My 3 word player analysis V Port
I believe our preseason is based on going through a long season into September. In other words our older players should be going into the start of season just a tad underdone, and find match fitness as they build into the season, otherwise they could be burnt out in Spring. Our younger players should be fitter than Jones and Co, but many had operations to work through. So they will also be finding match fitness during the season. This in turn puts pressure on our forwards and our defenders. We need gut runners atmo, and the loss of JKH', imo is hurting, at the moment. The only others I can see realistically, to help with spread and some speed, are Jordan and Lockhart.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Too close to Asia ? Why is the West worse than the East ? In off-field footy terms ?

I agree. now we've built our platform Melbourne style of hard at it contested footy. We do not need to change away from this, but rather add better and better skilled players along the pathway, doing the same style. Growth via culture, and attrition, as players overtake one another, for spots. But the old NoN-Negotiable is ??? ... contested footy. physical play. effort.

Goodwin signs on until end of 2022
Hah... I never thought it but its a relief... maybe the big smile I got from that video... or from the signing. ? but the vision of the close-knit camaraderie is heart warming.

Huh, foot injury hey. ??? I've never believed that, but I am pure cynic, when it comes to AFL media releases. Jesse looks fit... trimmed down in this image at least so maybe he will get better on-field. ?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Oh,,, is there other thoughts circulating. I had not heard. I hope mine isn't infringing, as they were my thoughts alone. #edit: https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/fremantle-suspend-jesse-hogan-after-poor-alcohol-choices-and-incident-at-pub-20190318-p515a5.html not sure what other stories there are ?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Is this just another public charade... following his being (asleep) under a table, at some nightclub in Perth. Was he blood tested. Did they find alcohol (cough), in his system ? Is this to do with being under the weather at a Sunday morning training, or is this just another 'Freo Fib'. ! ...................... and now maybe broken ribs ? https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/fremantle-suspend-jesse-hogan-after-poor-alcohol-choices-and-incident-at-pub-20190318-p515a5.html

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAY LOCKHART
I think this is a lot to do with JKH's & Neitschke 's injuries. If we had a ruck injury, I reckon we may have gone for a tall. I suspect this shows how close Lockhart was to us recruiting him. And I like this . I think he has something special. I hope he has the self-belief to take his game higher.

Thanks Cameron Pedersen
It should be noted that the change in culture in its beginnings, for the better, started around that time, of 2013... Pedo at the head of the list. he chose to bevcame a man and leave child like negativeness behind him and to stand his ground and to fight for his cause. 'C'- ommitment. Others have failed in the big 'C'... and have left this building. For far too long this club has been satisfied with being a boys-club. At the expence of not winning the Big ones. self preservation is the enemy of this club. just surviving is drowning slowly... our pasts have started at Boards levels... with no Ballls. no courage, and no vision. .

Target 70,000
Not enough 58. Nothing short of having the players race adjacent to the regular footy punters children will do the job. The regular AFL supporter deserves better than what they have copped since the end of the 90's. So I will do this task this way. on the footy forums. I am not a letter writer 58. Have no faith in the reply of the suits... but the supporter networks will start to take head.
