As I said in the previous post it's great to see a freo docker supporter who can read and write. Will you be wearing your Fremantle gear so we can all throw things at you?

Are you the freo supporter from that post a while back? Still surfing Melbourne forums I see. I'm heading to the match but have no idea how to get there either at the moment.

I think that if we can somehow stop their flow into their forward 50 (this has been a real issue for us previous weeks), then I have the faith in our defenders to outmatch the likes of Hawkins, Johnson and Mooney. It's the midfield that concerns me. If its not Ablett, it will be Selwood, Bartel, Chapman, Rooke, Corey, Enright or god knows who else. Stop the midfield by roughing them up I reckon. Seems to work for Hawthorn.

Grimes will come in, hailed as the new Brett Kirk and will thus spark forum debates as to whether he is awesome, or brilliant. Infact I'll even start the poll. Woona or Maric will come in and kick a couple crumbs, and Robbo on return will kick Six on the 'unbeatable' Scarlett. We will lose by a couple goals, and the headlines will read 'Noble Dees fall to Cats'. Ablett will have 30 possessions but we will have fought it out for three quarters of the match, after being blown away in the first.

If we get Skully and Butcher the pressure will be off Jack Watts.

Now that's a team! Unfortunately you have to look at the opposition. Who tags Ablett? What about Selwood? Hell even Scarlett needs a tagger.

Agree Bruce is not playing to his potential, but name several senior players in the melbourne team that are? At least he has a crack unlike the Sylvia's and Newtons of the team. We'll never win a game unless players like Mclean and Jones are able to make split second decisions. Every week without fail one of the wo get done for holding the ball. One of the only few positives to come out of the game was Ricky Pettards move down to half back finally free'd up our midfield and gave a bit of run. Why Bailey isn't utilizing him more is beyond me.

Could be some BIG inclusions for Geelong! Woona depending how he pulls up, Robbo and Grimes should feature... exciting times. Would love to see Strauss involved soon when he's fit and Maric given a chance or two. Bad run of games coming up after Crows match so really important to start building some team relationships and chemistry. Looking forward to seeing these guys come back from injury and start challenging for a place in the Melb Seniors.

Agree with your 1st comment. He has potential (on and off field) to become our next captain. He just needs consistency. The second comment, not so much.

Agree, it should be about the Anzacs and Bailey's initiative was very good. A mate of mine was listening to SEN yesterday and a caller called up (Collingwood supporter) saying how he thought it was ridiculous that other teams play on Anzac day. Not sure who was hosting the show but they blasted him, rightly so.

Yeh i agree with most of the comments and assessments here. Am really looking forward to seeing how Newton goes. Think he even said in an interview this week that his kicking let him down, so he needed to practice at training his set shots. Hopefully he's done that and we can see an improvement.

FACT It just goes to show the club is run by idiots when a person refers to that 'KKK' uniform as being 'A KKK Uniform'. Is the guy blind? How does he associate a ghost costume with a KKK uniform. FACT You know your club is pathetic when your captain doesn't even want to play for you. You know you're even worse off when your coach starts drafting X Essendon players. You know your dead when you draft a player who can barely touch the ball and cries at a dislocated finger over players such as Rich, Dangerfield, Beams, Zeibell etc. (I'm speaking of your pic #3) FACT People who support Fremantle can't really read and write, hence why he has not replied. Typical Demons, you probably got your highly motivated, more intelligent Melbourne supporter workmate to write the thread for you, however I doubt he'd waste his time bagging out his own club for the sake of a man who at some point has screamed out the words 'PURPLE JESUS'. My only suggestion behind this being written, is that you paid a colleague to write it for you in exchange for that precious Chris Judd playing card you have doubles of. FACT There would be only one reason why a person would support Fremantle. And that would be because at some point you got sick of hearing about how beautiful and awesome the game was. This would have been about the time Fremantle was introduced. So you said to yourself 'Yes, this is my chance to support and follow a team in the AFL without jumping on any specific bandwagon'. This in turn leads me to my next fact... FACT Fremantle supporters can assume to know more about Melbourne than actual Melbourne supporters, but in the end of the day we've had a supporters base for over 150 years. You've had one for barely 150 days, so don't pretend to know more about our club than we do considering you probably only started following footy when Freo were introduced. FINAL FACT We in no way are attacking you! We are attacking your pathetic club and it's attempts to brainwash it's supporters into believing they are more intelligent than they actually are. Oh and for those Melbourne supporters that can't handle the friendly banter between two rival clubs and fans, relax. That is the beauty of AFL. As much as I hate teams like Carlton (biggest example) I still have good mates that are Carlton supporters and there is nothing better than friendly club bashing which goes both ways. Take it easy and enjoy it, it's good for the blood pressure.

I can understand why you're a Fremantle supporter though. Often after a hard weeks worth of work I sit there and think, 'God, I just need to have a relaxing weekend. Have a drink, and possibly even a laugh'. By being a Freo supporter I guess you have the best of both worlds.

Hahahah that was brilliant Well you don't lack passion for your club, that's for sure. Shame the players don't feel the same way. But good thread none the less and fair response to the Docker bashing that's occurred on this site recently. What I love even more is the fact that a docker can read and write.

Who cares, any team that wears purple and has an anchor as a mascot deserves to be laughed at!

Agreed! His leg speed might be good, but his speed in decision making is hopeless. He's unable to make a split second decision. Same goes with Sylvia. I give them both around a 7 for effort against Richmond, but they'll need to follow it up against Crows on Sunday.
