Are you joking? Initial response was an enthusiastic YEAH. Followed by a vague remark that read to me as “holy [censored]. My manager will be [censored] off my saying that in contract talks”. Yes, it is something to wonder about, but as usual we dont' really know. Maybe the bashing in the media means nothing to him compared to getting out there and playing, however badly. Whether it is worth it for the club overall is another matter which presumably has been considered.
