  1. ‏Verified account @melbournefc 2m2 minutes ago More Goodwin has confirmed that Viney and T.McDonald will miss six to eight weeks: Currently they’re still sore so they’re having some time off legs, and then we’ll reload them from there.
  2. I would have sworn we played him as a sweeper off half back with his booming kick, with Brett Lovett performing a similar role on the opposite flank.. But 25 goals in 70 games suggests he must have spent more time midfield than I remember.
  3. No problems at all. I should have been clearer too! I am worried that there's more going on here though. I've heard thyroid conditions can impeded a person's aerobic capacity for a long, long time.
  4. I didn't say "football related injury". Perhaps I should have said illness.
  5. Unless his injury prognosis is worse than the Club is letting on.
  6. I hope he started by paying respects to the traditional owners of Ninth Spot, the Richmond people.
  7. Maybe we can offer them Salem and Tyson. Oh, wait...
  8. Like some racehorses that just need to be pushed hard
  9. Patton has definitely got hammy "awareness", from a mate who knows him personally. Unlikely to play.
  10. You've left out some games - some teams only played 21. Talk about uneven fixture!
  11. I have nightmares about Brown every time we play them. Just always seems to get hold of us. Maybe T Mac goes back? With Watts and Hogan in he's not as critical up forward, and was quiet there on Saturday.
  12. Surprised no-one's mentioned the obvious. Daisy Pearce
  13. Or this X Factor: Jack Trengove!
  14. At the end of last season Lewis was strongly tipped to be Hawthorn's permanent captain. Also Judd was made captain in his first season at Carlton. Just make it Jordan. X Factor.
  15. It's amazing to me how few of those goals over the last three weeks have been kicked by a key forward taking a contested mark inside 50 and going back for the set shot.
  16. One thing that hasn't really been mentioned in the discussion around Bugg's Instagram: when was the last time Melbourne was seen as provocative, arrogant or "unsociable"? I reckon the whole issue has helped our brand and helped chip away at the perception of the Club by the broader football world. On the other hand, how much more provocative would the post have been if it was Bugg and, say, Jordon Lewis, rather than a slightly bemused-looking Jack Watts?
  17. Salivating at the prospect of Jordan pulling Jesse aside and downloading what he knows of Buddy's application, workrate and tricks.
