GAMEDAY - Semi Final
Fox Footy playing 2017 Melb Hawks. Scores level half way through the last. We looked ok, but Gee there’s a lot of players not in our current team for various reasons. Watts, Bugg, Pedo, JKH, Jeffy, Bernie, Jesse, Hunt, Wagner. And it was only last year, and we thought that side was pretty good at the time.

Changes v Hawthorn - Semi Final
I might be one out, but I really loved the deep inky blue/black of the 160 jumper. Maybe without the fiddly overlaid text though.

Changes v Hawthorn - Semi Final
Out: Traditional strip In: Royal Blue OK I know we could wear the navy, but as the “away” team do you think we’ll mix it up for merch sales? Red back is another possibility; even indigenous or 160 year??? ps would love to see indigenous

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I know it doesn't get him to WA,, but would we consider a straight trade with Gold Coast for Steven May, who now need a key forward to replace Lynch. Or more likely, a three club deal involving Freo in some way.

12 Long Painful Years Finals - At Last!!
And our then-Great White Hope Brock MacLean, after being BOG in the EF, had hurt his foot(!!!) by quarter time and was pretty much done for half the season. Robbo did kick a goal while lying flat on his back, though.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
One under-rated aspect of Robbie’s game, and where he’s currently got Oliver covered , was his aerial skill. Unfortunately because Melbourne games rarely got TV coverage (and if they did 10 minutes of one-camera coverage) there’s only a few videos of a couple of famous Robbie high marks. But he took them most weeks, and many better than those on video. He was fearless and sublimely skillful overhead, winning contests he had no right to even get to. Unfortunately this part of his game is not documented nearly well enough. Not a crash the contest beast, but a cat-like leap and balance. There’s not a player past or present that readily comes to mind to compare him to.

Trengove to Debut for Port
Trenners now and James Macdonald playing for the Giants are the only times I've felt really positive to ex Demons still playing. Go well Jack.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
No problems at all. I should have been clearer too! I am worried that there's more going on here though. I've heard thyroid conditions can impeded a person's aerobic capacity for a long, long time.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I didn't say "football related injury". Perhaps I should have said illness.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
And we have a winner.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Unless his injury prognosis is worse than the Club is letting on.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Here's another nice little sideline. WADA rules also require that any games played whilst effectively under a "provisional suspension" do not count. As the WADA ban was backdated to the start of 2015 (effectively giving the players a 12 month "discount"), all games played in 2015 will now no longer be included in players' games tally, which means, the cheating sniper Dustbin Fletcher goes under 400 games played!
